IOM time again…
It’s that time of the year again a bit earlier this year but we are once again going to tackle the Immense roads of the IOM.
Manx rally for 2025 entry is in so a wrong game to see if you have a run or reserve like last year but let’s hope not and it’s a less stressful build oil to the event…
We are glad to have on board our loyal sponsors Venables Oak, Northwick Ltd, long mynd developments, syscom building management systems and Richy classic mini spare to help us compete at this fantastic event.
There’s been as always a few developments in the back ground on the Chuvit, with some fantastic bespoke adjustable bottom arms produced by Bennet built team, to help with the lack of standard adjustment on camber and caster on the car…
Also there been an updated clutch plate fitted which has highlighted the need for a hydraulic clutch system to be made and installed….
Then hopefully a bit of testing before the event to try out these upgrades…

Gexy Motorsport

A great day was had by team of Gexy Motorsport last Sunday! I sat with Richy Williams in his E30 and Pete Morgan swapped seats and sat with Ian Gough in his brand new built M3 rally car!

The E30 had enough half way round the 2nd stage as Richy was not letting a R5 fiesta get away from him the little car over revved on a downshift and the little valve didn't like it! We were both gutted as we were really enjoying the skid.

The M3 of Ian's looked and sounded lovely, he was doing well and progressing all day until he out braked himself and hit a chicane picking up a 5 minute penalty, the lads went out for a few more stages but decided to call it a day early to save breaking the new car.

Friends and family came to support as usual Chris Jordan Richard Poole Jim Clarke Kevin Williams and the youngsters Tom and josh we all had a great weekend with plenty of banter!

Myself and Pete have decided we would love another go at tackling the Manx national rally next year at the earlier date of April so preparation for that will start in the not so distant future.

Had a cracking time at curborough sprint track with most of the sponsors being there for treat in the passenger seat of the olde chuvit….
It was nice to say thank you to them all in a this way to experience the noise/burning rubber smell etc….
