Braintree hosted the club Albion & Windsor competitions today. There were 2 fully attended teams competing against on a very windy day. Fortunately the rain stayed away, and we had the occasional ray of sunshine. Results in and it was an Albion win for Mayflower, a Windsor win for Braintree. Thanks for coming everyone and joining in.

Dermot Burns - Men’s Compound Gold
Andrea Burns - Women’s Compound Gold
Barry Eley - Men’s 50+ Recurve Gold
Jan Eley - Women’s Recurve Gold just pipping Lorna into second
Zibby Miles - Women’s Barebow Gold

Start Archery Week is underway at Braintree Bowmen.

We have the targets, the bows, the arrows , the cake and the amazing volunteers.

Looking forward to introducing some people to our fabulous sport.

Braintree Bowmen is welcoming everyone to try archery.

Start Archery events see archery clubs and providers across the country open their doors to potential archers, giving people of all ages and abilities the chance to try archery for the first time.

We are inviting children and adults of all ages and abilities to come to our outdoor range tomorrow to have a shot at archery under the instruction of our qualified coaches.

We are based at Blake House Craft Centre and will be hosting our Have a Go from 10am till 2pm. The craft shops and cafe at Blake House will also be open and there's plenty of parking.
