What a difference a week makes !

The new development now clearly showing the hardstanding pitches and the 6 shuttered bases for the holiday lodges awaiting concrete.

All very exciting for the future of the park.

Christmas and New Year Bookings
🎅 🛷 ⛷️

Bookings for touring pitches, pods and tents over Christmas and New Year 2026/2027 , between the 23rd of December 2026 and the 5th of January 2027, will become available to book online tomorrow morning, Thursday the 11th of June at 10am.

This will allow bookings between these dates only and will allow bookings for customers wishing to confirm a stay with us over Christmas and New Year.

There will be a minimum stay booking rule of 2 nights applied.
As usual, there will be no arrivals on Christmas Day or New Years Day.

Any customers wishing to book winter dates outwith this period, this will only be possible once the remaining winter rates have been agreed and then released.

We look forward to having you spend your Christmas and New Year with us.

We thought you might want a glimpse of the new development, displaying the hard work and dedication that Barry McGibbon, Martin Ferries, Lorne and Bobby have shown over in the extension to the existing caravan park.

You can now clearly make out the road layout and where the additional 18 pitches will be located.
The 6 new lodges, (hoosies), will be situated at the right of the video, where the dumper truck is tipped forward.
4 of which are currently being fabricated at Island Leisure, just north of Perth.

For all our customers waiting on the booking diary opening up to take bookings for Christmas 2026 and New Year 2027, please bear with us.

Testing is currently underway and anticipate these dates to be available early next week.

I will issue a further post the day before bookings go live, with an exact time.

We are very fortunate at the caravan park this weekend as we have two local, delicious, quality food options:-

Friday 29th May - Balnault Farm offering their outstanding Aberdeen Angus burgers, these proved very popular the last time !

Sunday 31st May - Haydn’s Woodfired Pizza will be on the park with their choice of tasty toppings. These also proved very popular on their last visit.

Available for villagers and park guests alike and both are very tasty quality products (speaking from experience) and not to be missed !

Available onsite 4.30pm to 7.30pm

These wonderful sunshine & blue sky days are bringing lots of customers to the park with tents, ⛺️, camper vans and motorhomes. All seeking a peaceful and relaxing escape from the outside world. 🌍

Good news for our customers keen to make a booking for Christmas & New Year 2026/27.

The new rates have been agreed and will still have to undergo testing.

We anticipate these dates should be available to book later in the week, once the testing is complete.

I will issue another update when the exact day the bookings will become available online can be confirmed.

Just a reminder that we will have Balnault Farm takeaway trailer with us tomorrow and Saturday tea time from 4.30pm to 7.30pm, or until they run out !

They will be offering Aberdeen Angus burgers and hog roast rolls.
All customers and villagers are most welcome.

Good luck to the T.G.O participants making their way through the hills to the caravan park over the next few days. Safe journey everyone.
