An exciting opportunity for the youth girls league...

Brading Youth FC are putting on an 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 for girls going into year 7, 8, 9 & 10 in September 2026.

It's being held on 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 at 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗖 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗲.

Brading Youth FC are a club who promote fun, fairness and enjoyment for the girls. We know that football can be a competitive sport, but ultimatley, we want the girls on the Isle of Wight to enjoy themselves playing a sport they love ❤️🖤.

As a founding member of the IOW Girl's League and one of the oldest clubs in England you'll be part of something bigger than a win, lose or draw.

Good morning, everyone. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back for our second session this evening. 18:30-19-30 at The Bay Secondary School sports hall. Come along and join in, bring a friend and have some fun while exercising ⚽️🏵😊

Good morning everyone 🌅 today is the day! I'm so excited to meet everyone and start this journey with you all. A couple of things ahead of tonight. As it is an indoor hall, trainers or astro boots only please (not studded football boots, these will damage the floor and be unsafe as will slide around 🫣😂), remember to bring a drink, and most importantly, don't worry and have fun! There is zero pressure, join in on what feels comfortable.

A little bio on me, feel free to ignore haha... I started my coaching journey with Brading FC 19 months ago, coaching U14's-U10's girls teams. During this time I rediscovered my passion for football. As a child, I played in primary school and outside of school, but back then, there was not many opportunities for females to play (showing my age!)... so this was just for fun with male friend's. I wasn't allowed to play matches. My daughter luckily grew up in a more inclusive time for female football and sport as a whole! She found her passion for football too, firstly in her school team, then joining the Brading Youth girl's football team, where she has played for 4 years... which eventually lead me to wanting to volunteer as a coach 🥰 I completed level 1 and 2 qualifications through the FA and I am now about to begin my level 3 qualification. I can coach, but I'm completely new at actually playing again! So I'm on this journey with you all to learn while I coach too. It will be nice to walk the walk not just talk the talk. But don't worry, there are 3 other WONDERFUL volunteers that have more actual playing experience than me, Hettie, Robyn and Megan.
