Our club Treasurer has been in touch with some astounding figures. From June 2025 - Present Greengates FC has spent a total of £8,091 at local businesses and companies.

Throughout the year we have had team building time, Christmas do’s, end of season do’s, new kits for the upcoming season, our first seasons kits all spent LOCALLY at places such as our amazing sponsors .dogandgun.apperly and themanorhouse25 to meals at Aldo's Italian. Kits from CZone Clothing and Achilles Sports BUT WE GET EVEN MORE LOCAL THAN THAT, Money spent on our players to ensure they are training and playing with top equipment and wearing the smartest of uniforms, Gifts to the people behind the scenes that keep the club ticking on a regular basis.

We are very proud of this figure as it amplifies how much can be put into the local economy from simply supplying a voluntary service such as a football club. We expect this number to sky rocket next season as we enter with 3 TEAMS !

CHARITY MATCH ⚽️

Greengates Fc will proudly host football team in a charity game set up in memory of Ethan Buckett who sadly took his own life in 2023

It will be held at our home pitch Apperley Bridge Playing fields on the 18th of June 6:45 K.O⚽️

We will have a donations pot for any donations big or small that will be handed over to ANDYSMANCLUB 💚

We would like to congratulate the barmy army team for doing such a remarkable thing for one of their friends, carrying on his life and spreading the word about speaking up 💪

The more people that can come down and watch the better, all in good fun, all for a great cause 🏆

Our ladies team is almost coming together, we have secured the Stansfield pitch (outside the Stansfield arms opposite Woodhouse grove) for our new cogs to play and train on 💚

We are also in talks with who we think we want to run our new ladies open age team and take them to silverware 🏆

We are waiting on confirmation from West Riding FA on joining their county ladies league and what division they will play in 🤞 🫡
