Another good win for Crown now leading us to 3 wins in 3 games after a 4-0 win against gomersal & cleckheaton, the day started with an instant mess up where teams have been double booked and playing on our home pitch so we reversed the game and played away from home yet again!! The boys stepped up anyways and started the game strongly creating chances early on but nothing coming from them, our foot then stepped off the gas where we allowed some slack chances and mistakes lead to gomersal having a lot of the ball and creating chance after chance where dockers made some great saves to keep us in at 0-0, danny farrar broke the deadlock half way into the first half with another cracker of a finish taking us into half time at 1-0, second half came and it was utter control from crown again where it was only a matter of time we scored another but in a shock decision by the ref after a gomersal corner a penalty was awarded but yet again the big man in net (chairman) stepped up and made a huge save off the pen, the game remained 1-0 with crown pushing to finish it off where a flick on from a long ball fell to Dan hunt in the box who very calmly slotted his goal away, we then had shots blocked off the line, keeper making save after save to keep it at 2-0 but then the top scorer of the league stepped up once again and finished the game off capping himself with a hat trick and giving crown a big 4-0 win ๐ we now have a couple weeks rest before we then play odsal in our next league fixture and the boys are going to be well up for this one too
