It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Field Ladies AFC have made the extremely tough decision not to enter a team into a competitive league this season.
Field Ladies formed in 2021 and since has been a thriving and successful Ladies football team.
Field Ladies climbed through the divisions of WRCWFA starting at the bottom and finishing in Division 1.
Over the years, we have had undefeated seasons and back to back promotions.
We have had the privilege of having some of the best, most experienced , talented footballers both at the start and end of their careers on our pitch.
As a management team, we have had some of the proudest moments of our lives seeing a football team turn into a family and watching our success unfold.
We could never have imagined that a small dream/idea of 2 retired footballers desperate to stay in the game, could have turned into something so magical.
To all our players past and present, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this club what it is. You have achieved more than we set out to do and we are immensely proud of you all.
Each and everyone of you are the reason that we have committed ourselves for the last 5 years to giving you everything in our toolbox to see all succeed and happy.
This isnt the end for our family, but the football has come to an unfortunate pause. Our journey will continue slightly differently for now 💚🖤🤍
