With our syndicate Turbary carp syndicate In Somerset still closed after spawning and not officially opening again until 1st July but us and a few others were invited to fish for 24hrs before opening. Now the reason for this is the owner wants his fish in best possible condition so has a fish specialist onsite for the weekend to health check the fish and the quality of the water ready for opening again. Wayne (not on socials) is an absolute wealth of knowledge and checked every single water parameter going to make sure all was in order but needed a couple of fish on the bank to perform scrapes to check under the microscope for anything nasty lurking that’s too small for the human eye. Really impressive to watch and was chuffed to put this mega 29lb 06oz mirror on the bank for checks. Glad to say all is in order and these fish are going from strength to strength 💪
