🚨 NEW PHASE! 🚨
Starting the week of June 8th, we’re going back to our roots with strength programming. This means more varied exposure, more programmed by feel across each week.
For some time, our programming has followed structured linear strength cycles – repeating the same lifts weekly while building percentages and volume over time. That’s a valid approach, and it has helped athletes get stronger and more confident under the bar. Very effective.
So…we will shape the strength programming to match our training philosophy –
What does that mean?
Less rigid linear progression
More variety week to week
Strength pieces designed to flow WITH the workout
Exposure to different lifts, different rep schemes, and different loading
More fun, more balance, better class flow and feel overall
You’ll still squat.
You’ll still pull.
You’ll still press.
And yes, you’ll still get stronger.
But the approach will feel more varied and more in line with classic functional programming.
We’ll kick things off the week of June 8th with:
3 Rep Back Squat
3 Rep Deadlift
Those benchmark numbers will be retested in the future.
