⚽ U16s players wanted for the 2026/27 season ⚽

September Y11.

Thurlby Tigers FC are inviting new players to attend open training sessions for our U16s squad for the 2026/27 season.

We’re running open training sessions throughout the summer. Anyone interested in attending these can get in touch on the below email/number. The sessions will take place at Lawrance Park from 7pm to 8.30pm on Thursdays

⚽ Could you spare a little time to help local children play football?

Thurlby Tigers FC is run entirely by volunteers, and we’re looking for a few more people to join our team behind the scenes.

You don’t need any football experience – just a willingness to help. Whether you can offer an hour a week, a few hours a month, or help with specific projects, we’d love to hear from you.

There are lots of ways to get involved, including:
• Club administration
• Organising fixtures and player registrations
• Fundraising and sponsorship
• Event planning and coordination
• Communications and social media
• General support for the committee

Every role, big or small, helps us provide opportunities for local children to play football, develop confidence, make friends and be part of something special.

Right now we’re simply looking to understand who might be interested and what skills and availability people can offer. We’ll then work together to find the right role.

If you’d like to make a real difference in your local community, we’d love to hear from you.
