Boston Community Runners are a FUN, FRIENDLY and INFORMAL running group for Boston, Lincolnshire catering for all abilities. Our mission is to promote and encourage running within the local community and surrounding villages by delivering group runs for EVERYONE, from beginners who are new to running, to the more experienced and performance-based runner and by setting up regular meeting venues in

Boston and the villages to bring people together to jog, run and enjoy great company within the community around them. Whether you are looking to start running, or whether you are looking to simply keep fit, meet new friends and have a bit of fun, run your first 5k/10k/half marathon or full marathon, improve personal performance or enter competitive races but do not like the idea of a regimental running club, then why not join our laid back Community? We simply love to run, love our area and wish to spread the word..

It should be dry tonight for Jill to welcome you all as we revisit Tuesdays "Chasing the Dusk" runs. Do wear brighter tops (avoid black if you can) and HiViz if needed. Next week we'll need those running lights so get them ready over the weekend.
Tonight though, we'll do our best to be back round the estate before the light goes. Meeting at Peter Paine on Rosebery Ave at about 6.50pm ready for a 7pm start as normal. It's been a fabulous summer of evening runs but some of our country lane routes will be drawing to a close. Runners, joggers, jeffers and walkers, come along tonight for one more torch free session with some of Bostons finest. For fitness, fun and friendship look no further. Here's those routes and we'll see you all a little later on.

Morning everyone! A damp start to the day but it should clear up for us later on. Sunset today is just after 7.30pm so please wear brighter clothing and a HiViz tonight. NEXT WEEK you'll need those running lights so if you want to bring them along this week as a tester please do so.
Meeting tonight at Peter Paine Performance Centre at about 6.50pm ready for a 7pm start - we'll do the country lanes first so we are back on the estate roads as it turns dusk. Three distances once again, do come along for one last fling, hanging on to summer til the bitter end!! Runners, joggers, jeffers and walkers are all welcome to come along. Here's those routes and we'll see you all a little later on.

Should be a fine evening for running as we get together to revisit our Tuesday routes. Meeting at Peter Paine Performance Centre at about 6.50pm ready for a 7pm start. The evenings are beginning to draw in now so please wear brighter coloured tops rather than black. You might want to make this weekends task digging out the 'ol running lights and making sure they are all working ok.
Back to tonight, we had a fabulous turnout of runners, joggers, jeffers and walkers on Tuesday and of course, everyone is welcome to come along tonight. Here's those routes once again, all can be lengthened or shortened to suit, and we'll see you all later on.

AWAYDAY THURSDAY - meeting at ELLENDERS (Boston United FC) at about 6.50pm ready for that 7pm start. And that’s a wrap. Paul, Steve and Elsie bought the BCR team home, finishing in Caistor just before 8:30 this evening.

Well done all for taking part and making it such a fabulous day. We ran, walked, took pictures, took a few wrong turns, found our way again, gave first aid and got to each of the change over points. And most of all we had fun, had great chats as we ran and had a laugh.

Thank you all who took part. What an awesome team. ❤️
