Vs Onslow U13 Ospreys

What a performance from the team today! From the very first whistle, the boys and girls played some superb football, with the passing, communication and movement all coming together brilliantly. It was easily one of our most complete performances.

We went into half-time 4–0 up, with Jimmy finishing off four fantastic goals, while Simon was outstanding with four assists, showing just how well the team were working together.

The second half started exactly where the first left off, with the team continuing to play excellent football. Jimmy quickly added another goal, with Simon again providing the assist to make it 5–0.

The opposition managed to find two goals after a couple of moments of miscommunication from our side, but the team didn’t let this affect their overall performance.

With the very last kick of the game, Jimmy completed his hat-trick-plus with another fantastic finish, following a phenomenal pass from Chris to make the final score 6–2.

Overall, this was an amazing team performance. The passing, communication, movement and teamwork were excellent throughout, and the coaches were delighted with what they saw. No issues from the coaches today — just fantastic football from start to finish.

🏆 Awards Ceremony 2026 🏆

Well done to the team for all their achievements this year! What started for them as a tricky uncertain season has quickly turned into a phenomenal team with ever improving players and a fantastic team. They have all grown so well as individual players and as a team in their confidence and abilities and rightly deserved the words of praise from their coach Jack!

Thank you to Jack for all his support throughout the year in sticking by and believing in them all, even through the tricky moments! - it doesn’t go unnoticed and without his hard work, perseverance and dedication we wouldn’t be the team we are!

Also a massive thanks to our sponsors McDonalds in Liphook for all their funding and support over the year for kits, equipment and also providing food for the team after the awards, Jack and the whole team appreciate their backing!

We can’t wait to see how the team progress next year, onwards and upwards!

Match Report 2/5/26

🏆Camberley Town Rangers 2-0 Wey Valley Warriors 🏆

In the second game of the double header, the match started quickly with both teams creating plenty of chances, but it remained 0–0 at halftime.

The second half saw us on the back foot for long periods. The opposition were awarded a penalty but were unable to convert, keeping the game level. Shortly after, they broke the deadlock with a great strike from just outside the area to make it 1–0.

With six minutes remaining, another well-taken effort extended their lead to 2–0, which is how the game finished.

Despite both results, there were positive moments from both games, where we matched them well and created great opportunities of our own.

In the first game of the double header, there were plenty of positives with some really good football played throughout. Nizam had some excellent opportunities but was unlucky not to convert.

Just before halftime, a goal kick was knocked on, leaving their attacker one-on-one with our goalkeeper, and they took the chance to make it 1–0.

The second half followed a similar pattern, with more good football and chances created, but we couldn’t find the finish. Despite a strong performance, the game ended in a narrow 1–0 defeat.

🏆 Wey Valley U12 Warriors 1-1 Fleet Town U12 Panthers 🏆

A slow start saw us settle into the game after five minutes, but we went 1–0 down after 15 minutes. We responded well, creating several good chances for the rest of the half but couldn’t convert, going into halftime trailing 1–0.

The second half was end-to-end, with us creating the better opportunities while also relying on some excellent saves from our goalkeeper to keep us in the game. Despite our chances, we struggled to find the finish.

With 10 minutes remaining, Andre bundled the ball home to equalise. We stayed on the front foot and pushed for a winner, but the match finished 1–1.

Overall, it was amazing football throughout and very close to—if not our best—performance so far as a brand new team.

🏆 Fleet Town U12s Panthers 3 vs 1 Wey Valley Warriors U12s🏆

A slow start with a new formation saw us go 3–0 down inside 15 minutes against Fleet. After switching back to our usual shape, we settled into the game and began creating chances, but their goalkeeper kept us out.

The second half was much improved, with us on the front foot and creating more opportunities. With 8 minutes to go, Ellie-Mai played a great ball over the top for Chris, who finished well from 20 yards to make it 3–1.

We continued to push but couldn’t find another goal, with the match ending 3–1 to Fleet.

We would like to extend our thanks to Aldershot Town Football Club and The Shots Foundation for having us at the match against Sutton FC this afternoon.The team watched a great game of football that ended 2-2.

They took lots of pointers from the game that they would love to try and replicate in their games.

🏆Match Report – Wey Valley U12 Warriors vs Goldsworth Park🏆

Wey Valley U12 Warriors were beaten 6–2 by Goldsworth Park after a difficult game.

The Warriors went 2–0 down early, but a good passage of team play ended with Braydon scoring to make it 2–1. Goldsworth Park responded before the break, and the Warriors went into half-time trailing 3–1.

Goldsworth Park added another goal early in the second half to make it 4–1, before Braydon scored his second to reduce the deficit to 4–2. However, Goldsworth Park finished strongly, scoring two more goals to secure a 6–2 win.

Overall, it was a tough match for the Warriors, with team play below their usual standard. ⚽
