Many new parents feel a lot of guilt around how they parent their babies. Guilt combined with limited sleep can lead to feelings of depression, anxiety or just feeling overwhelmed and not able to cope. The figure being shared by the Lullaby Trust that 91% of babies bed share, often unintentionally, hopefully will put some minds at rest that, when done thoughtfully, bedsharing is safe and often helpful, for parents and their baby.
