🏒 This weekend saw the Berkshire Ballers attend their first tier 3 nationals

We eventually lost in the placement game coming 6th overall.

🌅 We started the day with a 0-0 game against long Eaton lightning which was followed with a 3-0 win over the South Wales Reivers with goals across the board from Ollie Warren, Sam Phillips and Misha Garbur. Our final game of the morning was a close 2-1 loss to the Rotherham Ducks with a goal from Misha Garbur.

🐔 The team journeyed to Nando’s for a meal and were on the scout for a strange man/woman being in the market, we then unsuccessfully returned to McDonald’s and eventually back to the rink for the remaining two games.

🌌With another 0-0 draw for the Ballers against the Sheffield Steeldogs, this saw the Ballers through to the third place group placement matchup against the stingrays. With yet another 0-0 result, we went to penalties where we were beaten 2-1 with a goal from Misha Garbur.

👏 With 4 shutouts from Michael Wilson during regular game time he had a fantastic debut but it’s not without commendation to the team who defended him! The Berkshire Ballers will look to display another solid performance in the next game day.

✍️ This Saturday 18th, the Berkshire Ballers have entered a selects team to compete in the Tier 3 Nationals held in Sheffield. There will be a series of game days in which we battle in to hopefully make the playoffs held in May. The selects team is comprised of players from each of the four teams from the South East Division 2 league additionally supported throughout the season by some extras. Though many of us have played against each other before, it’ll be the first time some of us play in an actual competition together, we are all excited to show what the south can bring. ✍️

Big thank you to everyone who took part this season with the Berkshire Ballers.

We are very proud to have won the division 2 playoff championship in the South East conference this season.
We'll be continuing to train through the off-season every other Monday, so please get in touch if you would like to be a part of this.
