⚽️ Bonnybridge YFC vs Abronhill United ⚽️
A fantastic game of football was on display this morning, with both teams competing in great spirits throughout. 👏
From the first whistle, we looked sharp and dangerous going forward. Our attacking play caused problems, while defensively we stayed calm, organised, and composed in possession — not allowing the opposition time to settle into the match. Both sides gave everything in a closely contested first half, with some fantastic saves at either end keeping things tight. 🧤
Heading into the second half, we knew the visitors would come out with more pressure, and the lads responded brilliantly. Remaining disciplined and focused, they defended as a team and worked tirelessly to create chances for the strikers. Our midfielders covered every blade of grass in very warm conditions, showing incredible work rate throughout. There was also some excellent finishing on display from our forwards today. ⚽️🔥

Today’s Man of the Match went to Aidan 🧤 — who was selected by the opposition coaches, who praised his outstanding shot-stopping throughout the game and a perfectly timed tackle late on as the match neared its end.
