⚽️ MATCH REPORTS — WEEK 3 ⚽️

☀️ A tough morning for both teams today in the sunshine, but there was plenty of fantastic football on display from the boys! Both teams showed great effort, determination and teamwork throughout their games. 👏

🔴⚫ BONNYBRIDGE SUPERNOVAS vs ROSSVALE 🔴⚫

A bright start to the game saw the Supernovas create some fantastic opportunities as they pushed to open the scoring.

As the match went on, the boys struggled at times to find their rhythm, but they continued to work hard as a team and never stopped trying to create opportunities. 💪

🏆 MAN OF THE MATCH — ISAAC 🏆

A terrific performance from Isaac today! He worked hard throughout the match, causing plenty of problems for the opposition defence in the first half.

In the second half, Isaac stepped in to play in defence, where he looked confident on the ball and was always looking to play forward into midfield to push forward

An overall excellent individual performance from Isaac — keep up the hard work! 💪⚽️

🔴⚫ BONNYBRIDGE COSMOS vs CARBRAIN FC 🔴⚫

Another excellent team performance from the Cosmos today! The boys looked confident from kick-off, pressing the opposition high and creating some fantastic opportunities in front of goal, with some clinical finishing.

Our midfield worked tirelessly, supporting the defence when under pressure before quickly transitioning forward to create attacking opportunities. They worked hard for the full game. 👏

The defence were focused throughout, closing down the opposition quickly and remaining calm and composed when in possession, backed up by another confident performance from our goalkeeper. 🧤

🏆 MAN OF THE MATCH — CHARLIE 🏆

A fantastic performance from Charlie today!

Starting the game as striker, Charlie never allowed the opposition to settle on the ball, closing them down quickly and putting them under pressure.

His work rate was fantastic, linking up brilliantly with the midfield and creating chances for his teammates. He deservedly got his reward with a few goals of his own! ⚽️⚽️

What a fantastic Week 2 of league action for our Bonnybridge 2016s! 🔴⚫️

Rossvale FC 🆚 Bonnybridge Cosmos 2016s

A fantastic performance from the Cosmos today in challenging conditions. The team worked incredibly hard throughout the match, playing some excellent football and showing great determination.

Our goalkeeper made some fantastic saves when called upon, while the boys showed great composure and finishing in front of goal.

A brilliant team performance from the boys today, with some excellent individual performances throughout.

The boys looked confident on the ball, worked hard to win possession back and created some fantastic opportunities in front of goal. They looked dangerous with every attack and showed great attacking intent.

Our defence stayed focused under pressure, with our goalkeeper making a few top saves to keep the team going. 🧤👏

The end of a testing week at training, with the elements 🌧️ definitely against us!

Yet again, the boys showed fantastic motivation, determination and a brilliant attitude throughout both sessions. The weather certainly brought its challenges, but the boys never let it dampen their spirits. 💪⚽️

As Coach Craig kept reminding the boys and fellow coaches:

> “If you don’t play football in the rain living in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 , then you wouldn’t play football!” 😂🌧️

And he’s absolutely right! A little Scottish rain was never going to stop the Brig! 🔴⚫️

Charlie has been working incredibly hard and staying focused in every training session. He’s always eager to learn, improve his game and take on advice from the coaches.

🌧️⚽ A bit of rain never stops a proper Scottish training session! ⚽🌧️

It was wet and wild tonight 🌧️ ☔️

Plenty of energy, smiles, and no dampened spirits from the boys 💪🔴⚫️

They dug in, worked hard, battled the conditions, and still enjoyed every minute on the pitch.

Special mention to Gavin and Jacob, who proudly received their Man of the Match medals from Saturday 🥇👏
