Canada is putting $11M behind Bolton and Canadian Athletics. 🇨🇦🔥

Yesterday, the Government of Canada announced an investment of up to $11 million in the new Bolton High Performance Centre. This project has a $27 million facility budget, with the Government of Canada covering 40% of the cost, up to $11 million. This is the largest investment in track & field infrastructure in Canada in 50 years! 🏟️🇨🇦💪

It will be built between an elementary school and a high school, to create a true playground to podium pathway for the next generation. 🛝➡️🏃‍♀️➡️🏆

In addition to this investment, there has already been community investment of $1.5 million, and another $5–6 million from trade partners. Together, we are finally making this dream become reality 🤝🔥

🇨🇦 A HISTORIC DAY FOR CANADIAN ATHLETICS. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🔥

Today the Government of Canada announced an investment of up to $11 million into the new Bolton High Performance Athletics Centre, made through the Build Communities Strong Fund . 🏗️🏟️🇨🇦

We were honoured to welcome Adam van Koeverden, Secretary of State for Sport, and Ruby Sahota, Secretary of State for Combatting Crime, to Bolton for this incredible announcement. 🙌

The Bolton High-Performance Centre will help create pathways from playground to podium — giving athletes the opportunity to learn, train, compete and pursue excellence right here in Canada. 🌟💪🏆

Virgy takes on the European Championships! 🇮🇹✨

Representing Italy on the international stage, Virgy faced a challenging competition with constantly changing, crazy windy conditions. 🌬️ Despite the tricky conditions, she stayed composed, cleared 4.25m, and showed incredible resilience throughout the competition. 💪🔥

Erika Fiedler cleared 3.85m to win the pole vault at the Masters Canadian National Championship and set a new W35+ Canadian National Record! 🥇🏆🤩

We are thrilled to announce that Max Legault will officially join Bolton Athletics as our new Head Coach on September 1! 🎉

Moving to Bolton from Red Deer, Alberta, Max brings an exceptional combination of technical expertise, leadership, and program development. A nationally respected high jump specialist with coaching success across multiple disciplines, he has built a reputation for developing athletes and coaches at the highest level. 🏆

During his time in Red Deer, Max grew the Red Deer Titans Track Club by more than tenfold, transforming it into one of Alberta's premier track and field programs. 📈🔥

More than just an outstanding coach, Max is a proven builder of high-performance environments. His passion for excellence, athlete development, and strong club culture aligns perfectly with the vision for Bolton Athletics. 💪🚀

We are incredibly fortunate to welcome such a dynamic and positive leader to our club and can't wait to see what's ahead. The future is bright! ⭐
