Brilliant defending, lots of calling for the ball, and a great stint in goal. Well done Alfie 👏

Yesterday’s match marks the end of the friendlies for now as we look ahead to tournament season!

The boys finished really strongly and were definitely the better team in the last quarter. That confidence and game management is really starting to show, and it’s been amazing watching the boys grow in confidence and gel together as a team over the season.

We’re incredibly proud of how far they’ve all come not just on the pitch, but off it too. They’ve become a brilliant group of mates and it’s been lovely watching them enjoy being part of the team 💙💛

Thank you to everyone for the continued support, early starts, and standing in all kinds of weather this season — it’s been a brilliant first year together!

Fantastic defending today — absolutely smashed it! Well done!

As for the rest of the team, I honestly came away so proud of the boys. To not concede any goals in the first two quarters (and a cracking goal from Noah), they had a fantastic start!

The score didn’t go our way in the end, but we’ve taken so many positives from the game. The other teams coach even came over to say how much the lads have improved each time they’ve played us, which was really lovely to hear.

Also, a big thank you once again to Noah, Connor and Alfie for stepping up in goal while our keeper gets back to 100%. It’s not an easy role, and you all did fantastic — we really appreciate it!

All in all, loads to be proud of and I think we’re all looking forward to getting into that league next season! ⚽️👏

Really well done today lads — great team performance all round. Some fantastic clearances from Toby R, and brilliant corner deliveries from Toby C that came so close to converting. Unlucky not to get one from those!

It was a really special game for the team today after so many matches without a goal, it was amazing to see them score more than once. The effort from everyone was fantastic. So much progress being made — a proud moment all round! 👏⚽️

Energetic performance, great tackling, and carried the ball forward brilliantly.

Alfie – Amazing tackling today, ran with the ball really well and was so unlucky not to score. Something parents might not always notice is how he’s constantly organising the boys on the pitch and calling for the ball – proper leadership 👏

Noah & Toby R – Great at the back, solid performance and what a great little partnership today!

Kobi – Solid in defence today, absolutely smashed it.

Arlo – Great game today, led the line really well and kept the other team under pressure.

Max – Up and down the pitch with a great centre-mid performance, and helped his defence when needed!

Archie – Great dribbling and took some amazing shots that were unlucky not to go in.

Harry – Great tackles today and got stuck in -
well done!

Tyler – Some brilliant through balls, unlucky not to get a goal today.

Toby C – Amazing in defence, cleared the ball really well.

Tim – Great in goal and led the line well when out on the pitch!

Player of the Match goes to Noah! A brilliant all-round performance full of energy, strong tackling, and winning the ball consistently. He even put in a solid stint in goal, very deserved.

It was fantastic to see the boys playing with such great team spirit today. Yes, a few small mistakes, but the effort, determination, and teamwork on display were outstanding from start to finish. So proud of them all! ⚽️
