🏗️ SOUTH BLYTH PLANNING APPLICATION

📍 Location: Blyth Town Football Club, Gateway Park, Sandringham Drive, Blyth, NE24 3PS

What’s Proposed?

A pre-application consultation has been submitted for a significant redevelopment of Blyth Town Football Club, including:

• Construction of 12 indoor padel courts.
• New reception, café, gym, fitness studio and changing facilities within a single building.
• Upgrades to the existing football pitches.
• Adult 11v11 pitch to be upgraded to a 4G artificial surface, enlarged and provided with a new spectator stand.
• Existing 5v5 MUGA to be enlarged into a 7v7 3G pitch.
• Junior 9v9 grass pitch to be relocated.
• New parking area serving the padel courts together with overflow parking.
• Improvements to fencing and security around the site.

Consultation

This is currently a Pre-Application Consultation, meaning no formal planning application has yet been submitted. It allows consultees to comment on the proposals before a full planning application is lodged.

Showing fantastic consistency to reach yet another cup final 🙌🏻 the patterns of play and the togetherness is there, just missing that elusive cup win. Not bad for their first few matches together 🤩

Losing to a single goal in a final the players deserved more from, opposition were clinical and took their chance.

Fantastic performance Blues and some exciting times ahead!

Excellent team performance in today’s HQH tournaments.. and to lose in the final on penalties is tough. Coaches all agreed this is a fantastic team with superb attitudes. Well done everyone ⚽️

Could not be any prouder of this team!

First tournament together and absolutely smashed it! Came up just short against an excellent Cleveland side but the effort, togetherness and team work from each player was amazing to watch!

2 pre-season games done and dusted against high level opposition. The players are pushing themselves and wanting to test themselves against very tough opposition.

Both games played in a friendly and respectful spirit, with fantastic team work and amazing support both on and off the pitch.

Very creditable draws in both games with new players fitting in seamlessly and everyone commenting how much fun they’re having and how they love their matches and training! Defending brilliant, keeper making a huge impression and attacking with some brilliant passing moves and encouragement and support in every situation to each other.

Well done all! More to come and everyone is excited for it ⚽️ 💚 🤍 💙
