As the season approaches its conclusion, there are always a few changes, and we are in a position to announce that Ron Henry will be stepping down from his role as Director of Academy Rugby with immediate effect.
Ron joined the club in 2024 and quickly became an important part of the rugby programme, working closely alongside Paul, Darron and Brett with the Senior Menโs setup for the 24/25 Season. He later went on to launch the clubโs Academy Programme in 2025, while also leading the coaching of our U16s, helping to build a strong pathway for young players at Manor Fields.
Beyond the pitch, Ron has also been instrumental in supporting the clubโs wider ambitions - playing a key role in Project Enigma and helping shape plans around the development of new pitches and facilities.
Everyone at Bletchley Rugby Club would like to thank Ron for his commitment, hard work and contribution to the club, and we wish him all the very best for the future.

Taking over the role with immediate effect, and leading into the 2026/27 season, will be Jordan Murray. A current 1st XV player and coach within the club, Jordan will step up to lead the Academy programme while continuing to work alongside the existing coaching cohort.
Jordanโs understanding of the club, its players and its pathway makes him well placed to build on the strong foundations already in place and continue developing the next generation of Bletchley players.
We wish Jordan every success in the role as the Academy programme continues to grow.
