Our managers thoughts on yesterday’s 0-2 hour defeat to Forth 💭
No complaints today. We didn’t deserve to win, and Forth deserved to progress to the next round.
We know as a group that we came up short. I can’t fault the effort, but our use of the ball was poor at times and we caused too many of our own problems.
However, if you had offered me our great start to the league and progress in two cup competitions at the start of the season, I would have taken it 100%.
We’ll dust ourselves down, make the most of the free week and then look forward to welcoming Maryhill, where we’ll be aiming to pick up another three points.
