As the season ended last weekend, this was officially our first training session as Nantyglo Under 12's Blues! We had to change our training in order to start preparing for next season where the whole layout of the games will be completely different to what we've been used to. Everyone took to it so well, but our Callen took trainer of the week due to his application and determination. Good job buddy!

So that's it! The 24/25 season has come to a close. Your Nantyglo FC under 11s blues have played their final matches of the season this morning. A slow start, but a wonderful finish today, left everyone in attendance, hopefully going home happy! Man of the match went to 2 players today! Morgan & Lleon! Morgan for his tenacity, enthusiasm and pure work rate. Lleon for playing in a number of positions and giving everything for the cause. Although every player improved as the games went on and should be absolutely proud of their efforts. Now we look forward to a night of celebration at our presentation evening, where all adults and players will hopefully bring their dancing shoes for a night laden with awards, food and lots of plonk! Thank you for following this page throughout the season and for your continued support! Next season will be a different level as we go to under 12's with a lot more challenges. More on that after the presentation evening. Stay tuned for awards winners and pictures etc....... But from the coaches and all who work hard behind the scenes......THANK YOU! 👍🏻⚽💙💪🏻🍗

Nice Thursday friendly against brynmawr. Bigger pitch and formation. The lads found it hard at first but dug deep and gave a good performance i a tight game. man of the match went to our cobra at the back he was like a machine at the back well done keep.up the hard work. The weekend saw us play our penultimate games of the season as we travelled to the city of Tredegar! We were spoiled in terms of the weather, but we were also spoiled in terms of some great football being played. The determination and drive to do their best was absolutely evident from each and every player, but one player took Man of the match and that was our stand in goalie for the day RILEY! He grew in confidence as the games went on and made several vital saves in order to keep us in the games. Well done and thank you for stepping in. Thanks to everyone for their support! We have a break now this weekend for Easter, but the following weekend will see us complete our season! 👍🏻⚽💙💪🏻🍗

Another great session tonight these boys just keep on progressing every week. They apply themselves more and every week it's such a privilege for me and Chris to coach this bunch. Tonight's trainer of the week goes to our cobra (cody) from start to finish his concentration levels were on point on and off the ball in the match his positioning and communicating was amense.the best thing is he didn't even realise he was doing it it was just natural to him. Well done buddy keep up the hard work. COME ON THE BLUES 🔵 💪

Today your Nantyglo Under 11s Blues, hosted a home fixture at Brynmawr comprehensive school. We welcomed Pontymister Yellows and FC Tredegar panthers. An absolutely blisteringly sunny day made for some wonderful football being played. Every single one of your Nantyglo Blues gave 110% today and us coaches couldn't be more proud at the way they acquitted themselves. They listened and applied themselves better than any game this season and the football they produced was truly superb. Any one of those boys could have taken home the man of the match, but in the end, our Morgan took it. He was an absolute machine on and off the ball today, all whilst chipping in with a couple of goals too! Thanks to all in attendance for your support! 👍🏻💙⚽💪🏻🍗🇫🇷

Lovely warm night tonight for some great football. All the boys applies themselves tonight absolutely smashed it. Having to be relocated in order to play today, your Nantyglo Under 11s Blues found themselves over the Blackwood! A wonderful morning of football was had today. Our goalkeeper, Kian, played outfield today and took the Man of the Match gong for an all round great performance over the 3 games. Everyone played well! Thanks to everyone on attendance for their support! 👍🏻💙⚽💪🏻🍗🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
