When you’re constantly looking for progress and to be better, it can slip your mind to realise how far you’ve actually come.
Second photo was the night before I told myself I was going to sort it out around 8 years ago. It doesn’t happen as quick as people would like, but that 8 years passes anyway so you might aswell do something constructive with it.
This lifestyle is about playing the long game. Planning the next few months as a growth phase (bulk). Then looking forward to cutting and seeing what you’ve built underneath. Being relentless with the training plan for months at a time, then doing it all over again.
It’s easy to forget to look back and remember why you started and to miss enjoying the process now - for what it is.
That being said, that doesn’t mean that the foot comes off the gas - if anything it’s it’s just filled the tank back up and made me excited for the next 8 years on top of this.
It doesn’t happen overnight, but it does happen. Get after it.
