Full time 🔴
A great start from the Blackwood Town Reserves today, who were solid and competitive throughout the first half. 💪

Going into the second half, Wattsville Reserves came out stronger and took control of the game, ultimately securing a 9–2 victory.

Plenty of positives to take from the first half and lots for the lads to build on. 👊

👏 Man of the Match: Peter Harris
🫏 Donkey: Oliver Thomas

Goal scorer today M**s Balde x 2

Assists - Dylan Hulbert and Peter Harris
Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the lads today! ❤️🖤

BLACKWOOD TOWN 7-0 ASHVALE RESERVES! 🔴⚫️

A bit of a slow start from the boys today! Credit to Ashvale, who made it as difficult as they could against us, put their bodies on the line and never stopped for the full 90 minutes!

It took us a while to get going, but we still found ourselves 3-0 up at half-time!

The second half was much better, and from then on the boys controlled the game, scoring another 4 fantastic goals! A decent performance from the lads all round.

Most importantly, a clean sheet! The back four were solid all game and gave us a great platform to build from.

7 goals scored ✅
Clean sheet ✅
Through to the quarter finals ✅

Goals from - Liam Bennington, Ricki Russell x 3, Connor Dodds, Macaulay Price and Kian Furber

Assists from - Connor Dodds, Jac Verity,
Jordan Burton, Macaulay Price and Jamie Young

Man of the Match - Ricki Russell

Well done lads! 👏🏼

⚽️Reserves Dummy Club⚽️

This week the reserves chose a smart shirt and tie (Josh did not get the memo 🥴🤣)

Fair play the lads scrub up well although Slinky can’t afford a decent pair of shoes😭

Another great effort 💪🏼
