July Recap for Blackwood Town Boys & Girls FC ⚽💙💛

What a month it's been! Here's a look back at everything we've achieved together in July 2026

⚽ We welcomed lots of new senior players and continued building our senior section, with our 1st Team, 2nd Team and our new Over 35s Team all enjoying pre-season friendlies and preparing for the season ahead.

⚽ We also welcomed lots of new junior players to the club, and it's fantastic to see so many children joining us ready for the new season. We can't wait to watch them develop and enjoy their football journey with us.

⚽ We hosted our very first 2K Fun Run as part of our annual Summer Fundraising Day. It was fantastic to see so many of our players and families getting involved, and together we raised over £1,000 to help provide new equipment across the club. Thank you to everyone who supported us!

⚽ We also hosted a World Cup Final Family Night at Blackwood Rugby Club, bringing our football family together to watch the match. Through our raffle and tuck shop, we raised an additional £80 for the club. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the evening.

⚽ Our very first Women's Team has officially started training, and we're delighted to see the squad growing. It's exciting to watch this new chapter in our club's history begin.

Fair play Every team has been working hard throughout July, putting in the effort at training while also enjoying a well-earned break from weekend league matches during the summer.

🔧 One of our biggest off-the-pitch achievements? We finally got into our storage container! We've owned it for years, but after broken locks and talking about fixing it at countless meetings, we finally made it happen. It took an army of volunteers, plenty of tools, and lots of determination...

None of this would be possible without our incredible volunteers, coaches, players, parents, sponsors and supporters. Every training session, fundraiser, event and achievement is made possible because of you. 👏

Here's to an even bigger August as we continue preparing for another fantastic season. Thank you for being part of the Blackwood Town family!

Our senior team starts the 2026/27 season this weekend at Britannia sports field.

The wait is over! It’s our first league game of the season, and we’re at home as we welcome Ashvale FC to Britannia Sports Fields.

After a strong pre-season full of hard work and positive performances, the lads are ready to get the league campaign underway. We’re looking forward to getting back out there and putting in a performance in front of our home support.
