Today, our team joined together for a round of applause in memory of Andy Lawrenson, Secretary and Manager of Kirkham FC.

A special moment of respect from the players, coaches and parents as we remember Andy and the contribution he made to local grassroots football.

Our thoughts are with Andy’s family, friends, teammates and everyone at Kirkham FC during this difficult time.

Thank you to everyone who came to today’s game! The kids played absolutely amazingly, and I think we can all agree that everyone enjoyed the game. A massive well done to all the kids, it was an amazing start to the season! ⚽️⚽️⚽️🎉🎉🏆🏆

⚽️ THIS WEEK’S TRAINING SESSIONS ⚽️

Well done to everyone who attended training this week! The effort and attitude from the kids across both sessions was amazing to see, and it’s brilliant seeing the progress they are continuing to make. This week we focused on defending and attacking, with plenty of hard work, teamwork and communication throughout the sessions 😄⚽️

Well done! He listened really well to the coaching points and put them into practice, communicated with his teammates and gave his full effort throughout the session. Brilliant work! 👏⚽️

🏆 PLAYER OF THE SESSION – J.F🏆

Well done! He put in the work, made some great plays and continued pushing himself throughout the session. His communication and teamwork were excellent, and he showed a fantastic attitude from start to finish. 👏⚽️

⚽️ GAME DAY ⚽️

A big well done to everyone who took part in yesterday’s game! The team started really well, worked hard together and showed some great teamwork throughout. 👏⚽️

🏆 Coaches’ Player of the Match – B.M
A fantastic performance from B.M, showing great effort and teamwork throughout the game. He helped the team push forward and create opportunities, while also defending really well, delaying the opposition and helping to win the ball back for the team. Brilliant work! 👏🏆

🏆 Parents’ Player of the Match – R.E
R.E showed great resilience and determination, keeping his head up and continuing to work hard throughout the game. He helped drive the team forward, getting the ball up the pitch and creating chances. A great effort from start to finish! 👏🏆

⚽️ ROUND ROBIN 2026 – WHAT A DAY! ⚽️

What a fantastic day of football! 🙌⚽️ A huge well done to every single team that took part today — Thornton Titans, Thornton Falcons, Fleetwood Gym Wolves, Elswick Whites, FC Rangers and FoxHall. 👏🏆

Every team showed great effort, teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship throughout the day. There were some brilliant games, plenty of goals, great saves and, most importantly, the kids were able to enjoy playing football and making memories with their teammates. ❤️⚽️

Days like today are so important for the children. It gives them the opportunity to play lots of football, experience different challenges, learn from each game and build confidence while enjoying the sport they love. It’s not always about winning, it’s about developing, supporting each other and having fun along the way. 💪⚽️

A massive thank you to all the coaches, referees, volunteers and parents who helped make the day possible, and to all the players for putting on such a great day of football! 👏

Well done to everyone today! 👏⚽️ It was a really tough game from start to finish, but the kids continued to work hard, battle for every ball and support each other throughout. 💙👏 A huge well done to everyone for their effort, teamwork and attitude today. Every player contributed and should be proud of the way they kept going, even when things were difficult. 💪⚽️

🏆 COACHES’ PLAYER – J.F🏆

A massive well done to J.F for receiving Coaches’ Player today! 👏 He worked incredibly hard throughout the whole game and showed fantastic resilience. He never gave up, continued to battle for the team and kept putting in the effort even during the toughest parts of the match. His determination and attitude were brilliant to see, and he showed exactly what it means to keep going and give your best. 💪⚽️

Another positive week of training for the team! The kids have worked hard across both sessions, with a big focus on passing under pressure, keeping their heads up and working together as a team. 👏⚽️

🏆 Player of the Session 🏆
R.E showed great leadership skills, worked extremely hard and encouraged his teammates throughout the session. He gave 150% and really demonstrated the importance of teamwork. 👏🔥

A.W put 150% into the session, kept his head up and showed fantastic determination. He also demonstrated all three of our team values, teamwork, resilience and respect. 💪⚽️
