Blackpool Darts Academy Blackpool Darts Academy is a community project aimed at developing individuals from Ages 5 to 17. We are located a Tee Time Golf Centre.

The Blackpool JDC continues to go from strength to strength with a record number of students signing up to enjoy developing their game and mental arithmetic.

Last night saw 19 students attend the Junior Class where they completed their weekly JDC Assessment with Jayce EGAN hitting the top Junior score of the week with 419, very closely pushed by Thomas HEMMING with 329> One completion they continued to work their way through the PDPA One to One80 Certification. All of the students made positive progress but a special mention to Reece HARDING for showing true grit and determination to become the first Junior to complete the Checkout Level.

The 14 Seniors then took to the oche with some very good JDC Assessment Scores. Chas DOOLAN topped the charts with an excellent 920 points closely followed by Joey FOX with 730.

The 11 Advanced Elite students then took part in their weekly Vault with the final being between Kieron ADAMS-REAVEY and Alfie EDWARDS who was attempting to back up last weeks win with another. A very close final which went the distance saw Kieron check out 200 in 6 darts to claim the win by 3-2.

Another enjoyable evening here at Tee Time Social Club. The Juniors, missing a couple of players due to illness and birthday parties totalled 12 and welcomed Thomas HEMMING, Alex HEMMING and Theo COFFEY into the club. Kobey FAIRFAX-PRICE top scored in the weekly JDC Challenge with a whopping 351 whilst Leyla POTTER passed her Double assessment.

In the Seniors the numbers swelled to 12 students as we welcomed Alfie EDWARDS, Chas DOOLAN, Alfie MAUSOLS and Eddie ASPINALL into the academy. All put in strong weekly JDC Assessment Scores, but it was Alfie EDWARDS who set the standard with an impressive 636.

In the Elite Class, 9 players battled it out in the weekly JDC Vault Challenge. Last weeks winner Kieran ADAMS-REAVEY was unlucky go out in the first round this week whilst impressive performances from Joey FOX and Alfie EDWARDS secured 3rd and 4th places. The final was keenly contested but it was Chas DOOLAN who emerged victorious.

Throughout 2025, Tee Time Social and Sigma501 Darts Coaching have been successfully running the Blackpool JDC Darts Academy and have been delighted with the progress of all students, not only in pure darts but in their core mathematical skills and developing into respectful and considered young adults which we are proud to be associated with.

To recognise their achievements, Tee Time Social Club and Sigma501 Darts Coaching have extended their commitment by agreeing to sponsor two of their most promising students for the first 6 months of 2026.

Sponsorship for Joey Fox and Kieran-Adams Reavey will include paid entries into the local ADC Vaults and ICON competitions where they will continue to develop their skills in a competitive environment.

We are delighted to continue to put something back into the local community and look forward to supporting all of our young dart players to becoming the very best version of themselves in 2026.

A fantastic evening at Tee Time Social with 11 Juniors turning out for the early session with the majority beating their JDC Assessment scores from the previous week. Jayce Egan made his Blackpool JDC Debut and too scored in the assessment with a score of 255. There Juniors Darts League had its first week with Harry Young defeating Kaelan Fairfax-Price, Kobey Fairfax-Price beating Zac Muldoon, Frankie Moran defeated Thomas Moran in very close match, Reece Harding beat Jayden Fisher and Star of the Week Sophie Harding beating George Moran.

The 8 Seniors were missing Ellis Oakley who had a minor accident earlier in the day and we hope to see back next week. Harrison Southern top scored in the JDC Assessment with 600 and a fun game of Fox and Hound followed before the Advanced Elite League saw Harrison extend his 100% unbeaten record beating DJ, Joey beating Jayden and Jake defeating Harry.

Another great night at the Blackpool JDC which saw a total of 8 Juniors attend the early session. Harry Young set the highest JDC Assessment Score with 208 and we saw another 5 Certificates earned across the PDPA One to 180 course.

The Seniors were raring to go and were joined again by Kieron. Joey Fox set the JDC Assessment highest score with 626 and another 8 Certificates were completed in the PDPA One to 180 course.

The Advanced Elite Singles League continued with Harrison Southern consolidating his position at the Top of the League with another comfortable victory over young Jake Turner, but Joey Fox is hot on his heels and level on points after he defeated Ellis Oakley. Harry Young gave a credible performance against Kieron and but for a host of missed double, could have pushed the match closer and a hard fought 7-7 all draw between Jayden Creighton and DJ Turner.

A great night yesterday at the Blackpool JDC with 6 players at the 6:00 slot, another 7 at the 7:00 slot, which included a curious Kieran who wanted to see how we do coaching better than the Big Fish and left happy.

A total of 23 certificates were awarded from the PDPA Single to 180 Coaching Scheme.

It does start getting a little bit harder now, we only had 2 successful passes at TREBLE Level with Thomas Moran becoming the first player in Blackpool to achieve TREBLE status before being joined by Harrison Southern.

The Advanced Elite Singles League kicked off with Harrison beating Ellis, Joey beating DJ and Jake winning against Jayden.

Next weeks fixtures see Joey vs Ellis; Jayden vs DJ before a top of the table clash between Harrison and Jake.

A very rewarding session this evening which saw 9 students attending the 1800-1900 session, 7 students in the 1900-2000 class and another 6 in the Advanced Elite.

Every student performed, and even after 3 weeks I can see improvements with another 11 Certificates being gained across the Single and Double events of the PDPA Single to 180 scheme.

I look forward to seeing you all, plus Harry next week.
