This afternoon Unity hosted Bamber MHFC / AFC Bamber in The Mental Health Cup, the sun was beaming down on stanley park and it was great to have both teams together sharing the pitch for the first time.

What a game it was that followed

A brilliant end to end game that could have easily swung either way in the end but, after going ahead then falling behind, Unity dug deep, stuck to our morals by working together and come away with 3 points. A spectacular goal got us back ahead by Lee O'Donnell, an overhead kick that flew in to the top corner along with 2 lovely taken goals by Oli Taylor put us back in control to take the win today.

Massive credit to Bamber today as the game was end to end throughout. A real pleasure today to host you guys 💪🙏

Our MOTM today was tough to decide but with his 2 goals today, coming at the perfect time in the game to keep Unity going, Oli Taylor is deservedly the winner of this award.
