Next Saturday, Sharpstyle Boxing Gym Blackpool Thomas Varey steps into the ring for the biggest fight of his career as he challenges for the Commonwealth International Super Lightweight Title at the Toughsheet Community Stadium, home of Bolton Wanderers Official 🏟️🥊

Standing in his way is the dangerous Rashid "BrickFist" Omar, but Thomas is ready to leave it all in the ring and bring the title back home.

This is more than a fight.

🎙️ VIP Boxing Promotions founder and managing director Steve Wood recently spoke with Lee Hogan following Sharpstyle Boxing Gym Blackpool Bradley “The Sting” Rea - Professional Boxer huge victory over Liam Cameron.

Rea produced one of the best performances of his professional career when he stopped the experienced Cameron inside four rounds to claim the WBA Intercontinental light-heavyweight title at the Co-op Live in Manchester.

Calm from the opening bell, Rea controlled the fight with sharp boxing, clever movement and accurate combinations before forcing the stoppage in emphatic fashion.

The win carried extra significance given Liam Cameron’s recent resurgence and experience at top level. Cameron entered the fight as a dangerous opponent with momentum behind him, but Rea delivered a mature and explosive display that many believe could push him towards even bigger opportunities moving forward.

🥊 After a standout start to his professional career, rising Blackpool prospect Thomas Varey returns to Bolton on Saturday 13th June at the Toughsheet Stadium.

Still only 21 years old, Varey has quietly built one of the most promising unbeaten records on the North West scene, moving to 12-0 with 4 stoppages since turning professional.

Guided under Andy Abrol at Sharpstyle Boxing Gym Blackpool and the VIP Boxing Promotions banner, the young prospect continues to develop fight by fight, showing maturity beyond his years and proving he belongs among the division’s emerging names.

His most recent outing in March saw him produce an impressive stoppage win over Andrew Kikonyogo in Bolton, breaking his opponent down before forcing the finish in the fifth round — a performance that showed both patience and power as he secured his first victory of 2026.

Now Varey returns to familiar territory looking to keep the momentum rolling and continue his climb through the professional ranks.
