Chinese Traditional Weapons & Eskrima The White Cloud Kung Fu "System " was founded in 1962 by Master Derek Gordon to promote and preserve Traditional Chinese Martial Arts. The White Cloud Tai Chi & Chinese Martial Arts Kung Fu Society was the name Master Derek Gordon associated with his "System"
in the 1970's and is now dedicated to teaching the Traditional Chinese Martial Arts of Tai Chi Chuan, Xing Yi Quan, Baquazhang, Wing Chun, Praying Mantis and Chang Quan (Long Boxing), Long & Short Staff, Three Sectional Staff, Dao (Broadsword), Jian (Straight Sword) , Quan Dao and Escrima Sticks. The White Cloud Kung Fu "System" has a long and very distinguished history.stretching from 1962 to the present day with affiliated clubs and associations worldwide. Today the Society is guided by Master Mike Fielden one of Master Derek Gordon's highest graded Black Sash Instructor/Coaches who trained with Master Derek Gordon through the 60's, 70's 80's until his death in 1994. With nearly 50+ years of Martial Arts experience dedicated to teaching both the Internal (Neijia) & External (Waijia) Chinese Martial Arts and preserving these arts intact as well as transitioning them into a more modern age. Our style of teaching is one of allowing the student to balance their progression at their own pace whilst trying to keep as true as we can to the disciplines of the Traditional Chinese Martial Arts we teach. By adopting this style of teaching our training is not easy by any standards,whether we are teaching the Internal or External Chinese Martial Arts our aim is to keep these arts alive, to pass them down fully intact & to keep progressing and learning. it
