Weekly round up 🤩

WEDNESDAY
Little Saints - 15 children in attendance including a couple of new boys taking part in their first every football sessions
⭐️ of the week - Arabella

THURSDAY
2-3 years - dodgy weather meant a move inside to stay clear of the rain. Amazing watching these boys and girls grow each week
⭐️ of the week - Jorgie
Rec/Year 1 dev group - the most horrific weather you could ever imagine in June!! And 16 children powered through right until the end.
⭐️ of the week - Louis and Spencer

SATURDAY
Pre-school - few absences in this one, looking forward to having a full group back. Getting used to group sessions and working towards looking after the ball and becoming more competitive in games.

Reception - busy group as always, working hard to improve and pushing each other week by week
⭐️ of the week - Henry

Girls - fresh back from playing their first ever games last week, the girls continued to work hard and push each other every step of the way.
⭐️ of the week - Hattie

Year 1 - 2 groups now formed ready to leave us in a short while (🥺) to begin their football journey with Rishton United where they will be playing each week (😁)

Slightly different day for our reception, girls and year 1 groups today as we all came together for the first time due to a few absences because of half term!

What a morning it was, approx 35 children taking part in a morning of 3v3 matches - constant action throughout, skills on show, determination and goals goals goals ⚽️

From a coaches perspective seeing so many children come off buzzing with how many goals they scored - I couldn’t be any happier!

Wednesday night = Little saints sessions with Oswaldtwistle St Mary's Football Club

The group is growing nicely, with 16 children now regularly attending the sessions… but the development in each child from week 1 to week 10 has been astounding 😍

Every child improving each week, getting more competitive and much more comfortable with a ball at their feet.

Today has been a little bit different to normal for coach Adam - who has spent the day at Anfield as part of the new u9s signing on day.

Alongside full time work, Adam juggles running Project Football as well as a part time pre academy scouting role for one of the biggest clubs in the world - Liverpool FC. Today he had the pleasure of watching one of the boys he took into the pre academy officially sign his first contract as a U9 player - well done Taha 🙌
