Just come across this picture from December 2024 - right at the beginning of the Project Football journey 🥹

This is the first group to go right the way through from pre school right through to now as they enter year 1!

Fast forward nearly 2 years and this particular age group has absolutely exploded with over 50 individual year 1 children now playing football at Project Football every single week. If that’s not something to be proud of I don’t know what is 💙⚽️

Well our last week outside didn’t end the way we wanted - we battled through tough weather conditions on Wednesday and Thursday, but unfortunately was defeated by the weather on Saturday.

A massive well done to everyone who managed to keep going in the heavy rain this week, and an even bigger well done to this weeks star players:

All 16 places have now been taken ahead of the launch of our 2-3 year old session this coming Thursday.

Anyone who messages for a place from this point will unfortunately have to be placed on the waiting list, as the format of these sessions only allows for a limited number of players.

SESSION CANCELLED‼️‼️

Due to the amount of rainfall over the last couple of days, the pitches have become more waterlogged with a few puddles, so we have taken the decision to cancel tomorrows sessions.

Anyone with children in year 3 wanting to begin playing football - get in touch ⬆️

We have had a few requests for this age group, so have decided to run a taster session to see if there is interest in creating a team going forwards 👊🔵⚽️

Worst thing about summer - sessions are always quiet, best thing about September - everyone is back 😍😍

We make it 103 children attending sessions this week… and that’s before we announce the new 2-3 year age group which is about to start in a few short weeks 💙⚽️💙⚽️
