Summer attended our very first Girls Masterclass and has been part of the family ever since. From those early sessions to where she is today, we’ve had the privilege of watching her grow, develop, and work relentlessly towards her goals.

Summer’s commitment, attitude, and love for the game have always stood out. Year after year she has embraced every challenge, trusted the process, and continued to improve.

Manchester City has always held a special place in Summer’s heart, and seeing her earn this opportunity with a club she loves makes this achievement even more meaningful.

⚽ Is your daughter one of the area's top young footballers?

Soccer HQ is seeking talented, ambitious, and high-performing players to join our U14 Elite Girls Team for the 2026/27 season.

📅 27th June
⏰ 9:00am – 10:30am
📍 Pleckgate High School, Blackburn

This trial is designed for players who are serious about their development and want to train and compete in a demanding, high-performance environment.

Led by experienced coaches, our programme provides ambitious players with the opportunity to develop alongside some of the region's strongest young female footballers.

🎯 If your daughter has the ability, attitude, and desire to perform at the highest level, we want to see her at our open trials.

What a journey this has been for Tilly.

Tilly first joined Soccer HQ in November 2024, attending our Girls Elite Sessions. Since day one, her attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn have stood out. The development we’ve seen since then has been incredible, and it’s been built the right way — brick by brick, session by session, detail by detail.

She has become everything that epitomises a Soccer HQ player: committed, coachable, fearless and determined to improve every single week.

Since joining us, Tilly has progressed into our Elite Girls Team, who will be competing in U10s boys football next season, where she continues to challenge herself against high-level opposition.

Her commitment to development is second to none:

⚽ Coaching support in school 3 times per week at

All of that hard work has been rewarded with a place at the Manchester United Girls Academy. ❤️🖤

A fantastic day for Soccer HQ as our U9 Elite team won the Colne Juniors Tournament while playing UP a year in the U10 age group! 💪⚽🔥

A huge congratulations to our flying left winger, Charlie Wood, on being selected for the Hyndburn & Ribble Valley District Team! 👏⭐

What a day for the club! A huge well done to our U11 Selects who won the silver cup at the Blackburn Eagles tournament.

The boys were outstanding throughout the tournament, showing great determination, teamwork and quality football from start to finish. 👏 Every player played their part, battling hard and doing the badge proud.
