So it’s been a while since I’ve posted on here but there’s been lots going on in the background, not least of all the birth of our newest Four Mills family member.

Everybody meet ‘Balboa’ stable name Rocco born at 11:25pm on Friday 12th May.

Strong, cheeky, confident c**t sired by Chris Smith’s stunning jumping stallion, ‘Knockout’ (Ustinov x Clinton x Heartbreaker) and out of my beautiful Molly aka ‘Maxwell’s Keltic Lady’.

Happy to report Mummy & Rocco are doing fantastic and we’re all besotted 🥰

And this is my actual class from today, not the ‘scaredy pants’ clear round, the BN 💪🏻 😂
Finished 4th with 1 down at fence 7 which set us up for a funny jump at fence 8 because we lost our rhythm a bit but I rode a couple of ‘jump off’ type turns for the first time with her as instructed by ‘the boss lady’ and she was a super star ⭐️ doesn’t look much on the video but it felt feckin amazing, fastest 4 faults 🤩 flying changes are still a work in progress 🙈

What I love about this clip is in the background you can hear ‘Fight Song’ which is so apt. I’m still fighting my inner demons that tell me I can’t but f*ck that! I can and I am!
I know that I’m riding a crest of a wave at the moment and that at any time something could set me back again but I don’t want or need to break records or please anyone else, this is for ME! This is MY story, MY recovery and MY life and I’m going to take it by the short and curlys and bloody enjoy it!

Had a LOVELY fluid rhythmic canter round the clear round, so much love for this little lady 🧡
