🏏 BWCC Team News 🏏

This afternoon both the Ladies and the Sunday XI are in action. The Ladies make the short trip to Twyford for their W10 league fixture, while the Sunday side host neighbours Swanmore at Albany Road. Best of luck to everyone playing today, and as always, spectators are warmly welcome, so if you can make it to Albany or Twyford, please do come along, enjoy the sunshine and the cricket.

A fantastic win for the 2nd XI, backed up by some outstanding individual performances.
James Carss and Dave Oddie both made half‑centuries, while Matt Smith picked up 3 wickets.

The 3rd XI fell to defeat, but there was a major highlight ~ Tony Boby hit another superb half century and took 3 wickets. His runs today also take him past an incredible 7,000 runs* for BWCC - a phenomenal milestone and a testament to years of commitment and consistency. Congratulations Tony on this fantastic achievement!

A fantastic win for the 2nd XI, backed up by some outstanding individual performances.
James Carss and Dave Oddie both made half‑centuries, while Matt Smith picked up 3 wickets.

The forecast is looking much brighter for the weekend ~ finally some proper cricket weather!

Unfortunately, the 1st XI fixture has already been called off as the Albany Road pitch remains waterlogged after the recent rain.

All other matches are on as scheduled, so good luck to all the remaining teams and players flying the BWCC flag this weekend.
