Drum n Bounce & Dubstretch Fitness

Drum n Bounce & Dubstretch Fitness Your dance, fitness workout to drum & bass. Uplifting tunes, sweaty smiles & healthy highs

Exercise is beneficial in so many ways promoting a strong body and mind. At 'drum n bounce & dubstretch' we recognise this and decided that if we chucked in some awesome tunes and bouncy moves then it could also be a lot of fun. If the days of all nighters are becoming a fond memory then what could be better than skanking your way through some wicked specially mixed tunes with no come down aftermath! Combine classic aerobics, a sprinkling of funky dancing, a generously heaped serving of quality music and you get yourself a solid workout. With warm ups, bouncy routines and toning dubstretch, just keep yourself moving and smiling and we are happy.

I love it when these land in my inbox.

Fresh in and so happy to share some more of the delight that is Shambala!

I hope that a bit of the magic we felt comes through the screen and into your day 💫

Double whammy coming at ya!

Excited to bringing both Drum & Bass Fitness | Emma Smallman | Sister Smalls & Sister Smalls | Drum n Bounce | Emma Smallman to the brand new FORM Festival of Running & Music 💃🏃

It’s on a beautiful site only 30 mins from Bristol Three Pools and has loads of amazing activities to help you feel good and enjoy yourself.

Festival organiser Helen, used to run one of the pubs in Moseley where I taught Dnb when it first started. She’s now living in Bristol and I love that her and her partner Ed are putting on this event and filling it with heart, people and wellness.

If you’re free and fancy closing summer with one final festival then come along.

The final day brought some welcome sun, sea and Spain!

From Caminha it’s a quick boat hop over to Spain so I popped in for a Spanish Omelette.

In 5 days I walked from Porto in Portugal to A Guarda in Spain a total of 214,444 steps and 100k. Whilst I’m not catholic I’ve really enjoyed the whole experience, being a pilgrim for a week and wearing my shell for protection.

I would love to keep following those Camino arrows all the way to Santiago but alas, I have commitments in the form of…

SHAMBALA!!

Catch Dnb on Friday at 2pm.

Can’t wait to pick the Camino Trail up again exactly where I paused and continue the journey. It’s been a week rich in adventure, nature, reflection and of course…walking.

Sun, rain, cloud, thunder, lightening. We’ve had it all so far on The Camino Trail, the best grown up treasure hunt I’ve ever been on.

Around the world in 80 bounces strikes again!!

This time as a “rest” from the Camino Trail in Portugal with a woman from Germany and two woman from the US.

This mission started in 2026 to share drum n bounce and so far we’ve done:

Jan in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
Feb in Belgium 🇧🇪
April in India 🇮🇳
July in Italy 🇮🇹
And now August in Portugal 🇵🇹

What a buzz we all felt after a rainy morning of walking.

Where next?? 🤔

Arrived in Porto. Got my Camino passport. Tied my Camino shell around my neck. And set off.

“Keep the water to your left and walk.”

Easy directions to follow.

Day one: 50,000 steps. 28 kilometres.

Ooh… it was a lot.

Rested. Ate. Started again.

Day two: 30,000 steps. 16 kilometres.

Beautiful coastline. Wooden boardwalks. Space to breathe. Little conversations along the way.

I found my way to an albergue, a Portuguese Camino pilgrimage hostel, ate a pilgrim’s meal, and let the waves hold some of the waves of grief.

At times it’s simple and beautiful, at times it hurts and I get a bit lost. The walk and grief run parallel. One foot in front of the other is the only option.

So far, so good.

Bom Caminho.
