Stroke is the single largest cause of disability in the UK. 150,000 people suffer a stroke every year – 25% are of working age. The specific and complex needs of the younger and more active stroke survivors are frequently not met and our group aims to meet as many of these needs as possible. The Young Stroke Survivors Action Group is a voluntary group with no source of funding other than member donations and fundraising.

Handing over hand crafted baby items to Worcester Royal hospital Special Baby Care Unit.
We were made so welcome and we have details of many more items they would like us to make; quilt covers for incubators, little quilted blankets for the babies to lie on, fleecy blankets and knitted squares. We will be busy in the weeks to come.

What should I bring? Feel free to bring a dish to share if you like.
