Our pre-season concludes with a 3-1 defeat away at Cheriton, not the result we wanted but key experience for the squad as we head into the regular season. With a well worked goal from Dusan Kovac.

Sunday Match recap ⬇️

No winner here, but plenty of positives for the Saints. great fitness work, attacking football, and solid team spirit on display. With well worked goals coming from Justin Spinks, Dusan Kovac and Alex Mundy adding three goals to the tally respectively. But ultimately couldn’t get the win in the 3-3 draw.

A great run-out for the lads as preparations continue for the new season!

The new era is well and truly underway. Having battled hard throughout the game Ronnie Carmans men had a huge test of character midway through the first half when a breakdown in communication resulted in Minster taking the lead in this very local derby.

Saints continued to play fast, attacking, high pressing football and slowly began to wear the opponents down. With changes being made at half time and shortly into the second half Saints dominace began to show and created plenty of opportunities. And when Jake Seed picked up the ball and danced round 3 to put a magnificent cross in on his weaker foot it was met by the head of Vincenzo and relief and elation in equal measure.

The winner came when good work from Jake Seed again put the ball into the mixer and after missing his initial chance Jabarie Carter followed up to win the game.

On to our final pre season fixture next week, Away versus Bourne FC.
