As always, your voice was amazing. Positive, encouraging and constantly helping to push the girls on. Your work rate is out of this world.

You started brilliantly in your usual central midfield role, winning challenges, intercepting passes and putting the girls into great positions. We then moved you up front and, considering you’ve never played there before, I thought you were outstanding. You held your position really well, found some great spaces and never stopped working for the team.

Well deserved, IG. Your performance today was outstanding, but what impressed me just as much was your amazing attitude from start to finish. You never stopped working for the team, encouraged those around you and led by example throughout the game. Your determination, positivity and work ethic are really starting to shine through, and it’s fantastic to see.

Keep working hard IG, it’s really starting to show. 👏

From start to finish you ran your socks off, taking players on, linking up brilliantly with your teammates and helping us play some fantastic football.

Your corners were absolutely class today. You picked up an assist from one brilliant delivery and were incredibly unlucky not to score directly from another corner that nearly flew into the top bins. The quality you showed from set pieces caused the opposition problems all game and was a massive part of our attacking threat.

Big shout out to MB, an amazing performance and a very well-deserved Parents’ Player of the Match award. 👏🧡🖤

You were an absolute rock at the back today. Strong in the tackle, cleared your lines when needed and showed great confidence carrying the ball forward, taking players on and creating space for the girls ahead of you.

Wow, what a midweek friendly that was! Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. 👏🧡🖤

From the defence all the way through to the strikers, every single player put in what I can only describe as an outstanding performance. I say that because SW hardly had any work to do in goal today – the defence did an incredible job protecting her, winning their challenges and staying solid throughout.

The midfield ran their socks off, linking up brilliantly with both the defence and the attack, playing some fantastic football. The strikers never stopped working, constantly closing defenders down, making great runs and getting themselves into dangerous positions. The triangle passing was phenomenal, we saw some fantastic finishes, brilliant corners being delivered into the box and girls getting on the end of them. It was a superb team performance all round.

The training and hard work these girls are putting in every week is really starting to show. Well done girls, once again I am super proud of every single one of you. 🐯

Another massive positive was seeing girls play in positions they have never played before and look completely natural there. We have plenty of all-rounders in this squad, which is fantastic to see.

Every single one of you played your part in a fantastic team performance. The effort, attitude, teamwork and determination on show today were outstanding. Keep listening, keep learning and keep working hard because the improvements are there for everyone to see. We are all incredibly proud of you!

What an amazing day! 🧡🖤

The girls have made myself, Frankie, their parents and, most importantly, themselves extremely proud today. They were so unlucky, and on another day it could easily have gone our way, but the main thing is that we had fun, enjoyed ourselves and stuck together as one team.

To only lose 1-0 to both teams that went on to play in the final, and then in the knockout stages take the winners of the other group all the way to penalties, is a huge achievement. The girls should all be incredibly proud of themselves because I know I certainly am.

Every single one of them worked their socks off, gave absolutely everything in every game and played some beautiful football. The effort, determination and teamwork on show today were outstanding. Well done to each and every one of you. 👏⚽

This was only week 2 of our 6-week tournament run, with 4 more tournaments still to come, and I’m absolutely buzzing for what’s ahead. I can’t wait! 😁

Keep your heads up, girls. You were all amazing today, and this team is going places. 🐯🧡🖤

What another fantastic training session from all of the girls tonight! 🧡🖤

This week was really hard to pick our Trainer of the Week because myself and FG thought every single player worked incredibly hard from start to finish. We stepped things up in the agility area, with the girls pushing themselves to the limit with fast feet, quick turns and sharp movements around the cones. Not only did we increase the agility drill from 3 rounds to 5, but we also added more elements to make it even more challenging. It was really hard work, but every single girl kept going non-stop and gave it everything. 💪

Across both drills there were so many moments of individual brilliance. Strong tackling, great shots testing SW, fantastic battles in the 1v1s, brilliant turns and some really brave blocks, which made our decision for Trainer of the Week really hard right up until the match at the end.

⭐ This week’s Trainer of the Week goes to SW! ⭐

Throughout the whole session she showed real bravery, commanding her box, closing down in 1v1 situations and throwing herself on the ball whenever she had the chance. Her diving, handling and decision-making were phenomenal, and she carried that confidence straight into the match at the end.

To top it all off, she was quick to play out from the back, was very vocal and confident, and kept asking for the ball back to help switch the play. It was an all-round fantastic session.

👏 Well done, SW! Keep showing that bravery and confidence – we were really impressed tonight. 🧡🖤🐯

🏅 Everyone tonight deserved recognition, and that’s why every single girl received a medal. You all worked your socks off and should be proud of yourselves. Well done, girls! 🧡🖤🐯

What a great first tournament for the girls today! I really enjoyed myself and I’m super proud of every single one of them, and I think they all enjoyed it too 🥰

The girls started off a little slow, but they soon got themselves into it as the tournament went on and grew in confidence with every game.

They all worked so hard. It was a big adjustment with the games being short and fast-paced, but they were brilliant from start to finish.

We played some lovely football, with some great passing and movement, strong defending, and some fantastic saves from SW.

It’s also worth remembering that some of the teams we came up against were really well-established sides that have been together for years. Considering this was our first tournament together, the girls more than held their own and should be incredibly proud of themselves.

We may have lost our first two games, but the girls never gave up. They showed great character, came back strong, and finished the tournament with a draw and a win 💪

The girls should be so proud. It was our first tournament together, with plenty more to come, and I honestly can’t wait. The most important thing is that we all had fun, enjoyed ourselves, and made more great memories together. That’s what it’s all about 🧡🖤

Well done, girls. Onto the next one! 🐯🧡🖤

Well, that was the longest two weeks of my life! I’ve missed training with the girls so much, and I’m absolutely buzzing to be back on the training ground.

Tonight was the first session of our 4-week training plan, and the girls have taken to it like fish to water. Our main focus over the next few weeks is defending – learning how to block the ball, jockey, tackle strongly, and use our bodies effectively. We’ve also mixed in some shooting and dribbling, so there’s a bit of everything going on.

The girls absolutely smashed it tonight. I’m so proud of every single one of them and so happy to be back doing what we love. Roll on the weekend as we get our first tournament underway! 🐯⚽

🌟 Trainer of the Week 🌟

A huge congratulations to HY!

She was phenomenal in her 1v1s, showed great bravery in her blocking and tackling, and was all over the opposition when jockeying, not giving them a second to breathe. Her finishing and composure were also incredible.

On top of that, HY was a fantastic teammate tonight. Without being asked, she helped collect cones, balls, and slalom poles at the end of training – a brilliant example of the caring, helpful culture we’re building as a team.
