Book Buddies are lightly padded book sleeves, designed to protect your books from bent covers, creased pages and similar damage whilst you carry them in your bag. We've all been there and it's heartbreaking when you pull a book from the depths of your handbag to find it's been crumpled by all the other contents! Book Buddies are available in 4 different sizes to suit all kinds of books, and many different designs. I try to make a wide range of designs to suit all, but if you don't see what you're looking for, just get in touch! I'm happy to make custom items, but please note that I can't use copyright fabrics (Disney, Harry Potter etc).

Each item in Melvis Makes is completely handmade by myself at my dining table, normally whilst listening to Oasis or watching Chick Flicks. I use only high quality 100% cotton fabrics and endeavour to create items that can't be sourced elsewhere. Therefore you can be sure that the items you purchase will be completely unique, handmade and ethically created (I promise I pay myself a fair wage and allow myself regular tea breaks!)
