Our awards night was a great wee night and a brilliant way to round off the season.

A massive thank you to William and Alan for organising all the awards and helping make the night happen. We'd also like to thank all of our sponsors who came along and continue to support the club throughout the season. Your support is greatly appreciated. Big shout to Billy crawford for playing some brilliant music for us. Last but not least the bowling club for being such good hosts.👏

Full Time | Biggar United 1–1 Gala Hotspur

⭐️MOTM - Charlie Walker covered every blade of grass and was a real nuisance for Gala to handle. Also big mention for Callum gray and Ben Allan with a solid performance. 👏

Our final game of the season ended all square at home last night against Gala Hotspur. A hard-fought match and a fair result to close things out.

After 14 years in the Borders Amateur League, this marks the end of an era for the club. It’s been a strong final season — with a possible 3rd or 4th finish depending on results and reaching a semi-final is no small achievement, and the boys have put in a solid shift throughout.

Now it’s time for the next chapter… bigger and better 💪👌

Full Time: Biggar United 2–3 Gala Hotspur

A real tale of two halves today. We controlled the first half, playing some excellent football and creating plenty of chances—enough to have us comfortably 2–0 up.

The second half told a different story. A number of changes and increased pressure from Gala saw them pull two goals back, taking the match into extra time.

Extra time was frustrating. We struggled to get going, with decisions not falling our way, and Gala capitalised—finding the winner through an unmarked man at the back post.

A disappointing result, but we move on.

Biggar United take on Gala Hotspur in the Beverage Cup Semi-Final — our final shot at silverware before we leave the Borders Division.

A tough afternoon on the road with the bare 11 available for a long away trip. The lads put in a real shift and worked hard throughout, but unfortunately we couldn’t make the most of our chances.

It might have been a bit quiet on our socials today, with no game this afternoon — but rest assured, the boys are still hard at work in training as we prepare for the final run-in of the season.

A key date to note is Saturday 2nd May — our final Saturday home game of the season, and a massive one at that. With a cup semi-final on the line, we’re aiming to get a big crowd down to support the team.

It will also be a special day for our sponsors, who have backed the club throughout the season with kits and player sponsorship. We’d encourage everyone to come along, show your support, and enjoy what should be a very competitive match.

📢Full Time: Langholm Legion 2-1 Biggar United

We weren’t at the races at all today. The wind played a big factor in both halves, but that’s no excuse for our performance.

The boys dug deep after going 2 down and managed to pull one back, but we couldn’t find the equaliser.

Well done to Langholm.
