We have a ground event at Hyndshawlands on the 21st September 4-6pm. This is open to anyone who has attended a beginner session with us.

Hopefully this will mark the start of regular sessions again, apologies for lack of sessions over the summer- I’ve been working away from home a lot. I will add more dates soon.

❓️ Fancy the opportunity to watch some top-class Horseback Archery, whilst gaining some hands on experience of how it all works?

The BHAA are looking for volunteers to help out at our 2024 British National Championships & Grassroots Championships, held in Longridge, Preston, this August! 🤩

You will be provided with lunch on the days that you volunteer, and if you'd like to come for multiple days, camping pitches are available ⛺️

No experience is required, all volunteers will receive a briefing before you begin. We also welcome Junior volunteers! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Due to changes in insurance, we no longer need archers to be members of the BHAA to attend beginner sessions.

Club members are generally working towards gradings and qualifications though and so I would rather people did join once they know they want to continue with the sport. The BHAA membership has a lot to offer and also supports the development of the sport here in the UK. They now also offer family and ground archer memberships so something for everyone!

Complete beginners still need to come to a special beginner's session before attending club sessions. These are open for 10 years and upwards, ground only or ground and ridden but all 16 year olds and under, must be accompanied by an adult during the session.

I can also come to you if you can't make club sessions-please contact me directly if you have any queries or would like to book a session.

Stewart killing it in his grading yesterday!

Lovely afternoon introducing 4 new archers and 2 new warrior horses to the sport. I will announce the next club session soon.

Some of us went out to visit the Hyndford Archers field archery club on Sunday. Lovely place, lots of fun. Next club session is the 14th April and there is also a beginners session - ground and ridden. Message me for details!
