Incredible effort today against a very physical team. The lads matched them though, didn’t back down and put their bodies on the line!

We played some brilliant football, which opened the opposition up every time.

Unbelievable passion from each and every single player throughout the game! With 1 minute 30 seconds left to play and penalties looming, Alfie whipped a corner in that ended up going in top corner! 🔥⚽️

Boys worked hard today and played some good football, turning into well worked goals. Just lost a bit of focus in the second half which invited them on us. Credit to COS for that.

The lads played some brilliant football today on a wreck of a pitch. It could easily have turned into a messy battle, but they stuck to keeping the ball moving with some brilliant one touch passing!

They showed great attitude and quality throughout. Incredibly proud of them all. 👊🏻

2–1 victory over table toppers Milton Utd U12👊🏻

A very testing game physically, but the lads pulled together and battled hard as a unit. They stayed disciplined, didn’t get involved in any arguments, and just kept playing their football the right way.

Baz claimed MoTM today - the lad dealt with a striker twice his size and limited his involvement brilliantly.

Parents’ Player went to the whole team they genuinely couldn’t decide, as each and every player was outstanding.

Superb performance from the CB today. Always in the right position to shut down the opposition, and his forward play was outstanding. Top work 👊🏻

Excellent display! Strong and physical, causing the opponents plenty of problems. Kept the ball moving well in midfield and capped it off with a goal from a set piece 👏🏻

Biddulph Town 4-0 Newcastle Strikers 👊⚽️

A superb performance from each and every lad today. We totally dominated the game and played some really nice football on a tough pitch.

Louie C bullet of a free kick put us ahead, before a dangerous corner from Olly H was turned into an own goal to double the advantage.

More dominance in the second half saw Corbs and Olly L secure the three points in style.

The back three were outstanding today. Seth made some important saves when called upon, while Louie and Theo were absolute brick walls at the back.

Man of the Match went to our very own Roberto Carlos 👏🏻

Noah was unreal, playing in an unfamiliar position and completely bossing it from start to finish.

A top performance after a very long break. Onto the next one! 💪

COS Devils 0–5 Biddulph Town

A strong result after a five week break, and it showed early on. A rusty first half, but the back two worked solidly and Seth kept us in the game with some excellent saves and brilliant distribution. Credit to COS for playing some nice football in the opening of the game.

The half time message was simple, play simple and the goals will come.

The second half was a completely different story. We moved the ball well, played some good football, and that quality translated directly into goals.

MoTM – Corbs 👊🏻
Outstanding in the middle today. Always looking to create, moving the ball wide with pace, and controlling large spells of the game. Great to see him enjoying his football.

PMOTM – Lewis H ⚽️
An absolute unit. His driving runs and physical presence caused constant problems. Capped off a brilliant performance with a goal, an excellent turn and composed finish into the bottom corner.
