We are SO very lucky to have the gorgeous Jack on loan 🩵 He is such an honest, kind and talented horse and I was lucky enough to steal him for a day to record an Eriders test!

I adapted Maisie’s Elementary FSM test to a 20x40m arena. My Mum had free rein to choose the music and Phoebe was the DJ & videographer!

What an absolute pleasure it was to ride such an established and well schooled horse, there is definitely room for improvement, but I’m thrilled with our score of 70.19%, which was enough to win our class 🤩🎉 🏆

I love the music classes, I find it makes Dressage so much more fun! 😂

What a lovely summer we’ve had at Team Cannon ☀️ Rather too hot at times 🥵 but we’ve battled through and looked after the livery horses as well as we can and rescheduled lessons in the extreme weather to keep the horses safe and happy in their work.

Lots of Cake Clinics over August with riders from 5 years old up to riders in their 60’s! There is something for everyone to enjoy, having fun with your friends and horses, whilst learning and eating cake, what’s not to like?!

So proud of Phoebe for competing at the JCB Pony Club National Dressage Champs with the gorgeous Rosheen Crackerjack. 🦄 Jack is a super talented, kind and cuddly horse. Phoebe usually much prefers jumping, but we haven’t known Jack long, so she decided to tackle Dressage first. He handled the atmosphere like a pro & took it all in his stride.

They produced a beautifully harmonious test for 66.88% and sat in 3rd for most of the day. They finished 11th place in a huge class and we’re absolutely thrilled, especially as this was only their second test together! 🎉

Phoebe was the only rider to compete in Dressage at Champs this year for the Bicester Pony Club 💪 🤞 for a team next year 🤩

Huge thanks for the support from all the Bicester Pony Club, for camping with us & for looking after the yard so we could camp over and enjoy the social side of Champs too 🎉🥰

A night away in the camper van with family and good friends is so good for the soul ❤️

Excited for Tuesday with Phoebe & Jack strutting their stuff in the Pony Club Dressage Championships 🎉🦄

🤩 THE PONY CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026 🤩

The count down is over and The Pony Club Championships 2026 begin tomorrow kicking off with our Tetrathletes, Eleanor and Georgina.

It’s been a very busy two weeks for us at Team Cannon 😮‍💨

Mini Camp, as always was totally magical 🦄🩷🤩 25 tiny riders enjoyed a fun week of learning and spending time with their friends and ponies. What could be better than that?! Massive thanks to Georgie and her team for organising this year. It’s a thankless task and you all kept the mini magic alive! 🎉🩷🦄

Two days later it was time for Senior camp for Phoebe & Jack, Charlotte & Kev and I was teaching at Junior camp 💪

Another fantastic week of fun, ponies and friends with some exceptional coaching from our fabulous instructors, creating a competitive musical ride finale for the parents 🎶🦄💃 What a lovely, fun atmosphere to finish off week 2 of Bicester PC camps.

Now to take a breath and catch up on life at home and at the yard.
