Dear all, sorry it’s been a while since posting, but there’s been lots going on.

Unfortunately, I have some extremely sad news.
Our Beloved “Motty”, Dave Mott, sadly took a drastic downturn during his long recovery from a bone marrow transplant and passed away in the early hours of Monday March 25th with his daughter, Jen & family members by his side.

I did, thankfully, get to see him beforehand and I pray that he was aware of how much love and admiration I had for him.
He was first and foremost, a great friend, but also a fantastic dive buddy and an extremely active and respected member of the DU Dive Team.

Personally, I shall miss him every moment of every day, but I will also remember with great joy all the fun and laughter we shared over the many years, many locations and hundreds of dives together.

His funeral service will be held at:

Blue bell Hill Crematorium
on Thursday 25th April 2024
at 3pm

Please join me in giving a massive congratulations to Thomas Brady (Tom) for passing his PADI Open Water Diver course with such flying colours today
Very very impressive dive skills and buoyancy control indeed!!!
Plus:
We had 30m+ visibility
27° water temp
Flat calm seas
AND
Dived over a shipwreck to boot
(With so much life it was like diving inside an aquarium)

Also, so far this season
More massive congratulations to Guy Mason for a great job on his achieving PADI Open Water Diver, to Maddie Joy Rumley for her PADI ReActivate and Adventure dives, also to Rebekah Rogers for completing the Open Water Referral parts 1 & 2.
