We gave the classic parachute game a splashy twist and turned it into a water game! πŸ’¦πŸŒˆ

Tuesday coaches, Amelia and Lo, had the water spray bottles ready for both the parachute activities and the circuit stations. The kids stayed cool, had loads of fun, and loved the surprise sprays throughout the session!

A perfect way to beat the heat while keeping everyone active and smiling. β˜€οΈπŸ’§πŸŽ‰

Class Update β˜€οΈπŸ’¦
We had a low-key day yesterday with a more chilled, relaxed vibe because of the hot weather, and we'll be keeping that approach going this week.
Our circuit sessions are focusing on the skills we've been working on during the last 5-week block. We'll also be getting some skills ticked off assessment sheets as we work towards the next Raw Rewards in 5 weeks' time.
This week is all about calm, focused skill work rather than lots of running and jumping around. As many of you know from Coach Lo's class last night, we'll also have the cold water sprays on to help everyone stay cool!!
The fans will be running, so classes may be a little noisier than usual.
We also have free ice lollies for the kids after class (if parents are happy for them to have one). Please give us a reminder at the end of class to hand them out… Becks forgot on Tuesday evening! πŸ˜„πŸ¦

This week with our gymnasts, we'll be doing a bit of everything! All of the equipment will be out so the children can work on skills from their assessment sheets and continue progressing.
With the hot weather this week, we won't be doing too much jumping around. We'll have all the windows and doors open, fans on, and spray water bottles available to help keep everyone cool. We’ll also have ice lollies after class for any children who would like one - just ask! β˜€οΈπŸ¦

This week's circuit is all about strength, support and floor sequences! πŸ’ͺ🀸
Our gymnasts love working on floor sequences because it helps them feel like proper gymnasts, linking skills together and building confidence on the floor.
Around the circuit, they'll be:
πŸ”Ή Supporting their own body weight on the parallel bars to develop upper-body strength and stability.
πŸ”Ή Strengthening their core using the wheel boards, helping to improve balance, control and overall gymnastics technique.
πŸ”Ή Practising floor sequences to develop coordination, memory and presentation skills.
Every station is designed to build the strength and confidence needed for gymnastics while keeping sessions fun and engaging! πŸŒŸπŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈπŸ€Έβ€β™‚οΈ
