What happens in a class?

People ask what actually happens in a RAW class, so here it is.

Stations set up before you arrive. A warm-up that looks like a game. Circuits with a coach at each one. Skills broken down small enough that every child gets a win. A bit of free play. Then home, usually asleep in the car.

It is structured, but it never feels like a lesson.

This week our Little Monkeys will be hanging, climbing and practising their handstands!
We know how much our kids LOVE being on the rig, so they’ll be making the most of the bars, rings and monkey bars, building their strength, coordination and confidence while having loads of fun along the way. πŸ’ͺ
We’re sure they’re going to have a brilliant week climbing, swinging and getting upside down! πŸ™ŒπŸ’

Here’s the set-up ready for this week’s Wrigglers session, for little ones from walking to 3.5 years! πŸ’›
This week we’re focusing on JUMPING & ROLLING πŸ™Œ
We’ll be using the vault boxes to encourage jumping, climbing and building confidence, alongside plenty of floor space for our Wrigglers to explore different ways of rolling, moving and getting comfortable using their bodies.

Our sessions are all about giving little ones the freedom to explore, play and learn through movement - developing coordination, balance, confidence and body awareness while having lots of fun! πŸ₯°
And of course, every child can explore at their own pace.

A gentle word to the parents watching RAW Kids Gymnastics from the side.....

We see you looking at the mats. We see you thinking about it. You're remembering being nine, and you're thinking that a cartwheel is probably still in there somewhere.

Sadly this class is not for you, but all of our RAW Kids classes are held in fitness spaces and the owners would LOVE to help you get your fitness journey started!

But leave the gymnastics to the small ones.
