Right now, it’s a very sensitive time for wildlife which has been enjoying several weeks of peace and quiet. There are creatures all around you, above your head, and under your feet - even when you can’t see or hear them. Help us to keep them safe and healthy by treading carefully.

I think it goes without saying that all sessions have been cancelled for the foreseeable future. Depending on what happens in the coming months we will announce summer programmes if appropriate. During this time we will be planning, preparing and sharpening skills and knowledge in hope for some return to normality later this year. Take this time to enjoy the simple things, learn new skills and keep your mind occupied. There may be a few updates on this page as the weeks go on so keep your eyes peeled. Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you soon.

There is all ready a ton of information out there on coronavirus and I'm sure a lot of people are informed and tired of hearing about it. However I came across a brilliant video on how the virus spreads by the YouTube channel 'it's ok to be smart'. They do fantastic videos on all kinds of subjects such as the one I have posted below about the colour blue in nature. It is incredibly unfortunate but after a long think about it I have decided to cancel Wildlings sessions on a Friday at kinver scout Camp. We hope to restart them after the Easter holidays but will follow government guidelines. Wildings has really grown into a wonderful social gathering where both parents and kids have started to gel and socialise together. We hope that when we start back we will see both old faces and new. Again, it is unfortunate and a real shame but we all must do our part to keep our communities safe and healthy. Take care and we'll keep you updated, see you all soon,

Yesterday we had some wonderful weather at Wildlings! Having started in October of last year our little ones have braved the cold and the wet and are now reaping the rewards with the beautiful sunny weather we had. It definitely bought a different vibe to the sessions. Yesterday we got the rope out and our little adventurers helped us build a rope bridge across the forest floor! They also celebrated international wildlife day and had some obligatory hot chocolate after all their hard work!

So, today I would like to let you know that we will be running a holiday club during the Easter holidays this year at Kinver Scout Camp. The sessions will run from 9am-3pm Monday to Friday on both weeks. I am currently writing up the programme but sessions will include things such as; Bushcraft and forest schools sessions, Woodland arts and crafts, Archery, Orienteering, CLIMBING!! (which if you can't guess i'm very excited about) and more. Its still early days in putting the programme together but I thought i should see how much interest there is. The costs will be £20 per person per day and spaces are very limited BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL!! We intend on this being a fun filled week of fantastic experiences for your children ages 12 and up. Although it was a wet one yesterday, we still had great fun at Wildlings playing in the mud kitchen, doing some weaving, painting using natural paint brushes and cooking pancakes over the fire. Join us next friday at the Kinver Scout Camp for more forest fun 🌳🌲🍃🍂🍁🐞🦋

What a great 'Wildlings' Valentine's session we had today 💚 We made Valentine's cards and clay hearts, potted flower seeds for our loved one's, went bug hunting, played in the ball pit, got messy in the mud kitchen, played in the leaves, and finished off with a game of hide & seek. Lots of fun had by all! Join us next Friday for a half term special 🌳🍃🍁🍂
