Last but definitely not least, a massive thank you to our players throughout our 23/24 season and our brilliant supporters. We’ve had 22 players sign for us this season, all of which have shown commitment and talent to be proud of. We’re also so grateful for the support we’ve received from our supporters both home and away, we hope you’ve enjoyed this season as much as we have!

We couldn’t end the season without thanking our volunteers who put hours of work in behind the scenes to make this team what it is today.

Firstly a huge thanks to our managers Matt and Tim, who since taking over the reins a few seasons ago have worked tirelessly to build the squad and make this team something our players enjoy being part of both on and off the pitch.

Thank you to our goal keeper coach, Grant, who is one of the most positive people on the sidelines and continues to work so hard to help our keeper Ellie improve each season.

Thank you to our linesman, Chris, who is one of the most loyal and committed volunteers you will ever get coming to every game, home and away.

And lastly, thank you to everyone else who has helped us this season in whatever way that may be. From social media posts through to people helping set up on match days, we are so grateful!

The 23/24 season has come to an end and what a season it’s been for us as a team. We started out with lots of new recruits and we’ve worked hard both on and off the pitch to bring the squad together and build something special.

Lots of learning and ups and downs for us but over the last few months we’ve seen a real team spirit and togetherness to take us into next season.

Bewdley Town 3️⃣ - 3️⃣ Leamington Lions

What a performance on Wednesday. Injuries and holidays meant we had the bare 11 and after an exciting first 10 minutes with 3 goals scored, we found ourselves 2-1 down. As the game began to get competitive between both teams, Leamington scored a third and then Beth was forced off with concussion, leaving us down to just 10 for the rest of the game. The ladies did not let this knock them and came out fighting in second half working so hard for each other. 10 mins from the end Chels scored two absolute worldie goals making it a hat-trick. Incredible performance from all of the ladies which saw us go up a place in the league table! Wishing Beth a speedy recovery 🀞

Bewdley Town 3️⃣ - 2️⃣ Long Itchington

A brilliant performance against 5th place Long Itchington yesterday sees us take home all 3 points. Another testament to how far we’ve come having lost 4-0 to them earlier in the season. A great performance all round with three brilliant goals from Chels and Beth to top it off. Two games to go!

Bewdley Town 2️⃣ - 2️⃣ Hereford Pegasus

We take home a share of the spoils after a competitive game against third place Hereford Pegasus. With a depleted squad of just 11 players, it was always going to be a tough game but the ladies worked hard and found themselves 2-0 up. Second half saw us concede two goals, one quite late on in the game and despite plenty of chances, we just couldn’t secure the win. However, as with last week, lots of positives to take away with some brilliant play between the ladies, solid defending and two brilliant goals!

After just over 50 minutes of play, our game yesterday was abandoned by the referee due to an altercation which took place which won’t be commenting on at this time. Please be assured that everyone at Bewdley Town Ladies FC are ok.

The score was 1-2 to Alvechurch when the game ended which shows how far we’ve come as a team recently battling well against a very polished side.

We will update on the outcome of the incident once we know more.
