HERE WE GO!!
🏆 AHEAD OF TOMORROW’S FA YOUTH CUP…
Ahead of tomorrow’s FA Youth Cup clash against Bridlington Town, let’s take a closer look at our JPL U16s side! 🔵
Now entering their fourth season in the Junior Premier League, Beverley Town Under-16s continue to build on the foundations established in recent campaigns, with a strong emphasis on player development, team progression and playing football the right way.
Under the management of Lee Carter, Steve Fisher and Mike Yardley, the side have continued to develop and establish themselves as a competitive and consistent team that looks to play attractive, passing football.
The 2024/25 campaign saw the young Beavers crowned Division One champions and secure promotion to the Premier League. Despite relegation last season, there were plenty of positives, including an impressive 3-2 victory over Chesterfield FC, with striker James scoring a memorable hat-trick. James has also finished as the team’s leading goalscorer in each of the past two seasons.
Back competing in Division One this season, the side will be captained by midfielder Fynn, with Bradley serving as vice-captain. Both players provide valuable leadership and experience within a young and talented squad.
With every player proud to represent Beverley Town, the focus this season remains firmly on continued development, both individually and collectively, as the players look to take the next steps in their footballing journey within the club.
Tomorrow, they’ll have the opportunity to represent the Beavers on the FA Youth Cup stage. 🏆💙
