ement. Your strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, and confidence will increase considerably. But this is only the start. Physical skills act as a foundation for something much more important; the development of skills, both mental and spiritual. Children at the Matt Fiddes Martial Arts Schools learn life skills such as Respect, Discipline, Goal setting, Concentration, Stranger Danger and lots more. The Matt Fiddes Martial Arts method incorporates a combination of techniques and principles from a variety of Martial Arts styles, including: Karate, Kickboxing, Tae Kwon Do, Ju Jitsu, Martial Arts weapons and Kung Fu - all of which provides our students with a well-balanced self-defence system. Bringing together the best of a range of styles into an integrated system gives MF students the advantage they need to protect themselves in virtually any situation. The Matt Fiddes Martial Arts Schools have been helping people improve their lives through teaching Martial Arts since 1997. Our main goal is to enhance self-esteem and confidence. We achieve this through building self-confidence and character, and by developing a sense of respect for others; in addition to teaching effective self-defence skills and action-packed, fun classes!

Had a brilliant 3 hr instructor training in Benson today. Was great to take ideas back from other instructors and work on my own personal progression

Blwyddyn Newydd Dda i bawb (Happy New Year to you all)

Thank you for all you support for 2025. It been a great year with lots of students gaining new belts from Purple to Red. We may have lost some along the way and some didn’t grade everytime, however ever every students journey is different.

It has been great to see students move from Mighty Matts to Family class. They have fitted it really well. This can be quite daunting for a child being one of the eldest to one of the younger children in class however this will prepare them for what comes ahead in all walks of life.

I look forward to 2026 and seeing all my student achieve their next goals.
