The Old Quarry

The Old Quarry The Old Quarry Fishery is a lovely 1 acre lake set in the woodland at the bottom of surreys famous Boxhill. We are open for fishing throughout the year. FISHING.

Home to both an excellent fishing lake and a motorcycle trials practice course. for day/night or lake hire is by appointment only. To book contact 07862 233047 Karen. We also have motorcycle trials bikes on Saturday and Sundays between the hours of 9:30am and 2pm. Please ring first as trials course is not open every weekend. We also have trials bike tuition available. Step back in time this lovely

lake has been left to its own devices and holds unspoilt fish some of which are specimen size. Currently the lake holds:

* Carp up to 30lbs
* Tench 6lbs
* Roach and Rudd up to 2lbs
* Perch up to 3lbs
* Bream up to 14lbs

Plus excellent Pike fishing through the colder months. We have a few rules which you are asked to observe.

* Barbless hooks at all times
* Unhooking mats are to be use at all times
* All fish to be returned immediately to the water
* Please have respect for other fisherman by not playing music or making excessive noise

TRIALS. Though the trials course is availble for use most weekends, there are occasions when we host actual observed trials events for local clubs. To avoid dissapointment please contact us to make sure you can ride. Many of the observed trials events welcome visitors and you can take part in some cases on a day ticket. Ring for more information
