Plus we have kayaks and Paddleboards for members to hire. Our cruising and motor boat sections are also popular, with both summer and winter activities. We have fleets of Teras, Lasers, Scows, Bembridge Swans and Flying 15's. The club house has been developed over the years and now offers a comfortable and spacious bar, lounge and dining area, all of which overlook the harbour and the spectacular views across to the Duver and the moored boats. Our main goal and purpose is to get as many people, young and older on to the water, with any relevant training and support. We also want them to enjoy the food and drink available afterwards too, relaxing in the bar, lounge or dining room. Come and enjoy being on the water at BHYC

A leisurely cruise from BHYC on a glorious afternoon. Arriving in the middle of Newport by boat is always entertaining...... The ducks were very annoyed. Also spotted the Floating Bridge actually working!

The Great Bembridge Paper Boat Race

Saturday 1st August

Brading Haven Yacht Club hosted the Great Bembridge Paper Boat Race again this year, with visitors and Club Members joining in the fun. Bembridge Harbour Authority organised building sessions and ferried contestants and spectators to the Club pontoons - all part of the Family Fun Weekend.

The variable breeze made for an exciting race for all the contestants, with some of the vessels heading off to the Mill Pond - a quick adjustment to the finish line ensured that everyone stayed in the race! Many thanks to all our visitors, and to those who helped on the day.
